To me there are several problems with Hadith, if it was important the Sahaba who knew the Prophet would have written it down leaving no room for hearsay? What defines the Quran as the word of Allah is that it does not contradict itself, Hadith does? This particular hadith is an example, no one close to the Prophet(PBUH) was permitted to write anything about him, so whoever wrote this is admitting he is an unreliable source?
Your question is only relevant to someone who believes in Hadith my friend which I don't? There are so many Hadith, most contradicting each other, the perfect example is one where the Prophet(PBUH) catches one of the Sahaba writing down what he is doing and he tells him that if their is any mistake in it that should misguide believers on his head will be the consequences, from then on none of the Sahaba wrote anything about the Prophet(PBUH)!
I use to think it clever to exercise my knowledge of Islam in debate with people whose belief differed. But now I know that is what keeps our people weak, divided and an easy target. Now I know a better and more noble way is to find reasons to bring us together!
It is my answer to every question that seeks to divide the Ummah. Islam is universal laws, logic and balance above all else. Allah says in the Quran, "people of balance and beauty go reign supreme". The Quran is the truth- it is the word of Allah and it needs no explanation or any additions, it is simple & clear to understand. Hadith is the word of man, written 200years after the death of the Prophet(PBUH) so how could those men know what the Prophet(PBUH) did or did not do??? Well if Koran is the Truth then it also makes it an obligation to obey the Prophet, belief in him demands it.
Confirmation of what he brought (Koran)requires obedience to him because this is part of what he brought. Allâh says, "O you who believe, obey Allâh and His Messenger ... " (Koran 8:20, 24:54, 3:132, 24:54, 4:79, 59:7, 4:68, 4:63).
You can't obey Moh. without knowing his Sunnah, which you find only in Hadith & Sira.
So you can't avoid Hadith, as it expalins Koran & Sunnah!!!
You can't deny Hadith because it was written 200 years after Moh, because if you go down that route then you also have to deny the Koran as the oldest copy of Koran (Samarkand Manuscript) is also 200 later than Moh.
Moreover Koran doesn't explain the Koran. i.e.
1) Why you do Wudu when word Wudu is not even in the Koran.
2) Koran talks about 3 times a day prayer, while you pray 5 times a day.
3) Sura 80:1-10 doesn't tell us anything about this blind man, and why Mohammad frowned at him?

To me there are several problems with Hadith, if it was important the Sahaba who knew the Prophet would have written it down leaving no room for hearsay? What defines the Quran as the word of Allah is that it does not contradict itself, Hadith does? This particular hadith is an example, no one close to the Prophet(PBUH) was permitted to write anything about him, so whoever wrote this is admitting he is an unreliable source?

There are so many Hadith, most contradicting each other, the perfect example is one where the Prophet(PBUH) catches one of the Sahaba writing down what he is doing and he tells him that if their is any mistake in it that should misguide believers on his head will be the consequences, from then on none of the Sahaba wrote anything about the Prophet(PBUH)!

Well if Koran is the Truth then it also makes it an obligation to obey the Prophet, belief in him demands it.
Confirmation of what he brought (Koran)requires obedience to him because this is part of what he brought. Allâh says, "O you who believe, obey Allâh and His Messenger ... " (Koran 8:20, 24:54, 3:132, 24:54, 4:79, 59:7, 4:68, 4:63).
You can't obey Moh. without knowing his Sunnah, which you find only in Hadith & Sira.
So you can't avoid Hadith, as it expalins Koran & Sunnah!!!

You can't deny Hadith because it was written 200 years after Moh, because if you go down that route then you also have to deny the Koran as the oldest copy of Koran (Samarkand Manuscript) is also 200 later than Moh.
Moreover Koran doesn't explain the Koran. i.e.
1) Why you do Wudu when word Wudu is not even in the Koran.
2) Koran talks about 3 times a day prayer, while you pray 5 times a day.
3) Sura 80:1-10 doesn't tell us anything about this blind man, and why Mohammad frowned at him?

I am grateful to my Muslim teachers, who very passionately taught me the knowledge to exegete Koran in the light of Hadith, Tafseer & Sira. I managed to study the 4 major schools of Islamic jurisprudence, and little bit of the shia jurisprudence.
I can say a lot, but the bottom line is that despite my indepth research, I didn't find any assurance of heaven in Islam. Koran assures all Muslims to go to Hell (Sura 19:71), and tons of Hadiths support that teaching. Continued--

As I was searching truth, I was amazed that only Jesus has the authority to forgive sins (Mark 2:1-12; Luke 24:47; Acts 6:31; Col. 3:13) and give assurance of salvation (Luke 23:43). As I repented of my sins & decided to follow Christ, my life changed altogether. It was unbelieveable.
