i remember my first firefight. we only had an AT-4 and the back blast of that shit is fucking amazing. the gunner of my Humvee thumping away with his MK-19 made my whole tour worth it. i sat there in my drivers seat and just literally watched grenades pound the shit out of this building where muzzle flashes were. PFC Dobbins fired that AT-4 into it and we never heard a shot out of it again. fuckin awesome.

the first units after all Spec ops was a detachment from 101'st abn, and 10th MTN division. they were aloud to bring only limited resources of Artillary, and a small number of support choppers (8) if i remember apaches. the first units after all Spec ops was a detachment from 101'st abn, and 10th MTN division. they were aloud to bring only limited resources of Artillary, and a small number of support choppers (8) if i remember apaches. @reckhead44 really? in ww1 france had been at war for years before america joined, you hardly "saved them", america just jumped in at the end and helped throw the finishing punches, and france was taken over in 1940 by germany, america didnt declare war with germany until late 1941, and it was because they wer in danger, not because of france, they would have gladly sat the whole thing out if they could, and france left vietnam in 1956, 10 years before america set foot there

The Most mobile, hardcore combat units this country has, who have been deployed NON stop since 9/11. 82'nd airborne, 101st ABn, 173rd ABN, 10th MTN division. All have logged more combat hours than any marine units by double the amount, and int he worst Areas. And with the army's Striker brigade combat teams tearing shit up, Marines have jack shit, aside outdated gear and hard heads.
