Am I the only one who notices that people love to say that the playing is "Robotic" especially when its someone Asian playing? Maybe im reading too much into it but thats what Ive noticed alot lately. Great playing and screw the people who criticize just for the sake of critique.

Remind that dynamics are not forcely necessary in playing bach. Bach wrote his pieces when pianoforte didn't exits yet. So this kind of pieces can be expressive without dynamics. Sure, dynamics can help in making a better interpretation of the piece. (sorry for my bad english^^)

dynamics are not always necessary since there are ways of being expressive without them, but they do offer a means of distinguishing parts, which is particularly useful in complex fugal works.

I agree that you really need to work on your dynamics and i know you play basically perfect with no mistakes that can be identified but without dynamics the piece does not sound the way it is suppose to sound. This is why it makes you sound like a robot. For your age i do not agree with that person you played it at a normal speed. I have to play this piece tomorrow at a Bach competition. Either way good job!

I do not understand how execute the 4th compass, she only plays 3 notes in righ hand... (while you plays in left hand Mi,Re,Mi,La,Mi,Sol)

The piano was not invented in Bach's time, so all pieces where composed for what was around, such as Harpsichord or Clavichord, or the organ.

yes he couldn't play one cause there were no pianos in his time. He did try out a few of the first pianos. He didn't like them because they were too hard on the fingers. I guess the key action on the first pianos weren't very good.
