Do the long tubes give you any issues at the E check? I noticed your also from Ohio so I figured I'd ask. I can't decide whether or not i want to risk putting them on.
That is 264 at the wheels. Which is around 310 at the crank. Ford rated the 2003 GT's at 260 bhp, which is at the flywheel. Yes I ran 12's with 264 to the wheels.
I'm hitting 12.5xx's all day long with 270/310 to the wheels. If I could get the suspension dialed in, I'd be in the 12.2xx range. I'm running brackets, so I don't want to mess with anything when I can run so consistently. A 2v with a tune, gear, and slicks WILL run consistent 12.9xxx's
Gained any E.T. with the new clutch setup? Mine is starting to slip and I'm buying a new king cobra but I'm hesitating with or without lightweight flywheel?
It bites harder, but I lost some torque multiplication going from a 3.38 first gear to a 2.95. At my power levels, this drive line isn't lettin' go for anything. I'd go with a heavier flywheel unless you're over 400 hp and tq at the wheels. We need that rotating mass.
My god! I didn't think 2v mustangs could be that fast, especially with your mods. I have a 2000GT with more mods(intake manifold, control arms, shocks...) I have 3.73 instead and run on street tires. The car isn't lightened in any way and I weight 300 pounds:)
I can't get past 13.80! My car dynos 283 sae corrected hp. I would be interested in knowing what kind of tires you running? You seem to be taking off like a rocket! Also, does removing the front sway bar makes a ig difference? Thx!!
SCT 2 step lets me launch at a 5500 rpm rev limit, then jumps to 6200 rpm under forward motion. I'm running E/T streets, and getting 1.6 sixty foots. Best on street tires (toyo Proxes 275/40/17) is 12.93 @ 105.62. You're probably leaving a lot on the table by not power shifting.
Thought I'd add that my control arms are stock on all four corners, as are the shocks and struts. I'm on 2" drop Eibachs, which probably hurts me more than anything. The mother is bone stock (heads, cams, rotating assembly, and block). Fuel pumps, fuel rails and injectors are stock...as is the MAF. I have a full trunk delete, K-member, EGR delete, front sway bar delete, charcoal canister is deleted, and under the bumbers is gutted. I weighed in at 3090 without me and 1/4 tank of gas.
Any guys with the 2v find this little girl xxxwanted said no 2v will run in the 12s lol!

I'm shifting at 5900 1st through 3rd...running it out in 4th. Its the 5700 clutch drop on Mickey Thompsons that get me weight tranfer.
