yes President Obama does want to relocate troops to a safer location, and wishes to maintain a presence in the middle east, but only to get out of a predominantlyhostile area theat we will still be able to keep an eye on things. His plan is to also reduce the amount of soldiers and gradually repeat this till more an more of our troops are back. Yes we are in a oil inspired war but total withdrawal from the area will impact the prices which can led to barrels doubling and gas going up.
