Really many thanks for posting this. I am from Yeovil - yeah I know but close to Brizzle. Now I live in Turkey and like you have lost my accent completely, so ı used your video to give my students an idea of how we talk back home. Ive lived in New Zealand all my life, believe it or not, when growing up, I picked up the Bristolian accent,(Mother worked nights, so didnt get much time wif her) from my father, now thats the good bit, the bad bit.....1hr each day sitting and being taught real english from my Mother PMSL

Also, I've never met a Bristolian who pronounced Bristol as Brizzle. Always seems to be a word used by non Bristol people who claim thats the way "they" (meaning Bristol accented people) say Bristol.

Bristol accented people pronouce Bristol as "Bristaw"
