Well he is doing good now he recoverd from the stroke he isnt fully he is still having rehab every other week twice a week he can talk normally just has a little problem with his word finding and has a small limp and holds his right arm wierd he can use it now and write, im glad to hear that you recoverd so fastly! how are you doing?
Your video helped me a lot my husband just had a stroke from this disorder its sad he is 28 yrs old I just wanna know how long did it take you to recover from your stroke ?
@Kari6147 oh my goodness! I am so sorry to hear that! :( I am wishing him the best and will keep your family in my prayers. The first stroke, the one which I lost feeling and dexterity in my right arm and leg as a result of, I recovered within 2 or 3 days. However, the second one in which I lost my feeling and dexterity in my right arm and leg AND lost my ability to speak well, I would say it took me about 4 to 5 days. Hope this helps!
My daughter is 7months and she has sickle cell anemia... its been scary. Ive been doing as much research as possible to educate myself on it. I have a C trait and her father has the S trait so we were told she has the mild version of it. Getting the phone from the doctor when she was only a week old was pretty overwhelming with all the information they told me. But i pray everyday for her. Thanks for sharing your story you're such a strong woman. Take care and God Bless
Thanks for sharing your story. This video helped me with understanding Sickle Cell Anemia. Continue to take good care of yourself. You're one brave individual, stay positive :)
@abornpoetress oh! I'm so sorry to hear that! I've just always been told by numerous doctors that it doesn't cause any pain, and my parents have it and they are not affected by it AT ALL. Sorry if I offended you, and I hope that you stay well <3
Thanks for sharing your story. You're very strong and brave. I have sickle cell trait and lots of people in my extended family have the full blown disorder. It's not easy living with this but, as you've shown, it's important to keep a positive frame of mind and take good care of yourself. Good luck!
you are so strong :) I was actually learing about sickle cell anemia at school (im getting into the whole medical profession thing) && I actually have something called thalasemia & Its kinda scary knowing my future kids could have it as well =/ but finally someone in the beauty community actually talks about this kinda stuff its good for people to know :)
@FlipxPrincess thank you so much! i've heard of thalassemia! i'm sorry to hear that :( i know, at one point I believed that I wouldn't have kids but now i want them so we'll see. and haha thanks! i like being unique :)
@VivaLaMakeupTV lol haha i know! I kinda figured you and a few other people would know :) The bad hospital has a name that rhymes with audit alley! lol and omg thank you :) i really appreciate you watching it all <3 thank you so much! i don't really see myself as inspirational person but a lot of people tell me that! I just try to keep a positive attitude; thats all I can do :) Thanks so much again! Means a lot <3 Love you!
