I've accepted that NiGHTS' gender was unknown. I know in the game NiGHTS gets referred to as a him, (I often refer to NiGHTS as a "him" because it's easier) but has a girl's voice and looks incredibly girly. But I was so sure that Reala was a girl! ^-^

That's because of the voice he had in the first Nights, his voice was a bit feminine during the boss battle. But it looks like the roles are reverted in Journey of Dreams: NiGHTS looks indeed a female in a male body, and Reala a male in a somewhat feminine-looking body (I dunno why but I'm mostly thinking about the lips o_O). But heck it, they're both androgynous...

I found my Sega Saturn!! But all my discs are scratched to hell. NiGHTs and Parodius are my best working games. Just the opening sequence messes up on NiGHTS. Also the battery that allows saves is dead so I can save anything! lol! I also found my old mega drive!! My family don't get rid of anything!!! XD
