I want to point out what strikes me MOST about this episode. Listen from part 1 how Jon and Kate talk. Jon is ALL about "I, me, I, me, etc etc etc" whereas Kate is ALL about, "The kids, what is good for the kids, the kids, them, they..." and really, nothing about "me me me" like Jon. Tells you everything about their priorities. Jon is ALL about Jon and Kate is about her kids.

I have issues with both Jon & Kate, esp. now with Kate's Dancing w/ the Stars stint & fling rumors, but Kate is definitely doing a better job than John. She's at least doing something to bring stability to her kids' lives. John is off is who knows where.. but of course since the show cancelled we know less about what really goes on in either of their lives.

They were having a LITTLE argument and hes mad at their mother so when the child mentioned the mother he didnt wanna hear it and took it out on his child.

It saddens me that Jon had to go and be a tool, cuz I thought he was such a good parent. Even in this episode, when he's with the kids, idk, like, if you've seen the show, you KNOW how Mady and Cara are, telling them, "You're done, go in the house," is not a far fetched way of dealing with those two, even Kate is like that with them. Even now he's good at parenting the kids, it's just too bad that outside that, he's such a bad person. He's "growing up?" Too bad, when you have kids, you're done.

I want to point out what strikes me MOST about this episode. Listen from part 1 how Jon and Kate talk. Jon is ALL about "I, me, I, me, etc etc etc" whereas Kate is ALL about, "The kids, what is good for the kids, the kids, them, they..." and really, nothing about "me me me" like Jon. Tells you everything about their priorities. Jon is ALL about Jon and Kate is about her kids.

please dont take this offencively guys. but i know jon and kate can be harsh on the kids, but you know what hes going through? always getting harassed by the press and having stories, and to top it off, never seeing your 8 kids as much as you want. i dont think its right to call people names and be all rude just by one thing you see on tv. i know jon is still an amazing father and the kids love him no matter what he does.

Maddy wasn't being rude she actually suggested at one point for Cara to use red to make her lemonade cause she was trying to be helpful and the fact that Jon freaked out when Maddy said she wanted to be with mommy, is stupid It's hard for kids to go through a divorce and to be punished because you wish your parents weren't isn't very good parenting.
