  • is it me or at 9:25 - 9:37 does it looks like a shadow is following him?

  • be interesting if you could fucking hear it

  • shouldn't be watching it if i'm gonna be using the underground all day today :l

  • @MeboRox well lets just agree on that shall we. it IS fucking shite!

  • Bloody thing what does he and his college do??? And how do I pass to the next bit it has a block and is anoying!

  • the only way to hear this stuff for me is using my noise-reducing headphones =s

  • MOGWAI

  • at 0:11 thats gorillaz tommorow comes today

  • VOLUME??? Im sure this is really interesting but I cant hear a bloody thing!

  • @chanctonbury63 Yes, some videos on YouTube have very low sound volume and others blast out at you. I feel sure there's a way to increase the volume on these uploads before the user uploads them, but GhostWatching seems not to know how to do it.

  • @darrenburnfan Actually it was shown on Discovery Channel (UK) the other night so now I know what is going on!

  • @chanctonbury63 turn up your speakers perhaps?

yes the sound is rather low, but it help turing your speakers up at the computer and put the sound at max on youtube. Im not trying to mock you, just giving you advise.

  • @zorgo12 You know if you hadnt told me that I would NEVER have worked it out for myself thanks. Doesnt make any difference tho`.

  • @chanctonbury63 it is always good to admit your faults, so im glad to help you with this one. If it doesnt make any difference well then i think you should try to fix your computer...seems broken...good luck with that..

  • @zorgo12 No. I just think the volume is shite.

  • ლ(ಠ益ಠლ) copy and paste !!!

  • Really interesting!

  • Bob and Larry.LOL

  • Anyone who refuses to believe there are spirits or a paranormal presence floating around anywhere that old is an ignorant fool.

  • of course those tunnels are haunted, they have to be

  • OK fair does that infra-sound causes people to see ghosts, though I have to ask how CCTV and cameras are able to as well?

  • @stormwell If they had the video we could find out. Unfortunately all we have is their word.

  • @adamwuk True.

Though just remembering and thinking about the experiment they did in the program, they only seemed to have done it when the Underground was in operation. Trouble is it seems most of the sightings took place when the Underground was shut down for the night, in all fairness the experiment should have been repeated then.

  • really good documentary but the sounds really low...

  • @midelta

Yeah, the best way to fix the sound it to use headphones.

  • SHIT MYSELF AT 3:25

  • to Rae Rae914. Creep is an English scary film based in the underground..Worth watching.

  • @animalroadshow just seeing ur msg now ,,thanks i'll give it a look :)x

  • @Loetjnant You are having a laugh right? He sounds nothing like a Welshman, he from southern England, he's speaking what we call English.

  • Once I was there alone and thought i saw something. I nearly shitted, pissed and even came in my pants

  • @scorpgul LUSH <3

  • Holy crap! At 0:15 it's a clip from the Gorrilaz song 'Tomorrow Comes Today'

XD I didn't realize that the last time I watched this haha

  • wasn't hyde park the favorite spot for highwaymen to hit carriages? It sound familiar...

  • I SHAT MYSELF WHEN THE GUY IN ORANGE WALKED ROUND AT THE START!

  • the london underground is a beautiful station,we need them type of stations in new york :)

  • @DevonteThatDon It isnt just 1 station it is a trainline

  • @iliveonjupiter i know..it doesn't matter really as long as you knew what i ment

  • Does anyone else have the urge to have a giant nerf gun war in these tunnels?

  • @gunslinger713 yup!

  • hahaha that indian fella was on a really shit greenscreen

  • @latinopitt That wasnt a green screen that was the tiles on the wall

  • Im usually a skeptic but iv definatley seen 1 before

  • The gentleman in the beginning of the video is trying to figure out what is going on, but in the meantime he is making people who have had genuine experiences look stupid. People know what they saw and heard, they didn't hear some weird soundwave effect that made them hallucinate. But, I give him props for trying at least.

  • Is this the subway, where American werewolf in London was filmed?

  • I'd like to walk there once at night, it would be amezing and bueatifull I think.

  • oh please... the only thing that DOES haunt the underground is "fowler's ghost"

  • I say They Should Have 100-150 Night Shift Security Guards on duty with Radio And in Groups Of 10

  • Ghosts are merely the product of people being mentally affected by Infra-sound? Yeah, like UFOs are merely the product of swamp gas and weather balloons. If the afore-mentioned 'mental condition' had been true, then how could an entity be videoed whilst not being seen? From personal experience (but nowhere near London's Underground system) I will state that the ghost/poltergeist phenomenon is genuine. But I will also state that this phenomenon is not necessarily what it appears to be.

  • great doco were can buy this 1

  • i go on the underground all the time.. i used to get the night train home every day for a few months by myself and i ever got scared or thought there were ghosts

  • I think what's interesting is that different people are reporting the same experiences

  • does anyone know the names of the songs that start at 7:30 and 8:53?

  • lol i went to London this year and its so different to the Midlands 0_0 i never before had to use a ticket machine to get on a bus (i would've got lost if i used the underground) XD and i kinda got lost in Chinatown 0_0 but i prefer the Midlands XD the closer to the country the better XD

  • @Loetjnant its a south east english accent. have you ever heard a welshman?

  • awesome post-rock and post-punk soundtrack does anyone know the song that begins at 7:29? sounds like mogwai or something but im not sure, can anyone help??!?!

  • @joru100 it's 'Now you're taken' by Mogwai :)

  • @MagnetProductions

    oh wonderful. thanks, man

  • @Loetjnant I am America, but my grandmother is Welsh :) and was absolutely stunning... random thought :)

  • I am American, but my grandmother is Welsh :) and was absolutely stunning

  • @Loetjnant I could understand him fine. o.o'

  • we should employ those ghosts as sure they would strike less often then their staff do.

  • OMG ! i hope you all saw the ghost at 3:26 :O

  • any idea as to whether it's called "pages walk" or "paiges walk"? Thought it would make a good song title.

  • Woah 5.34 thatr guy has a serious bum chin :L Heheee >_<

  • Well, machines do not always act like we expect. Door openings might be some "bug" or jam on the train system that caused them to open. It's simple. If a machine starts to behave erratically I don't think it's a ghost; its simply jammed or faulty.

And there is the CCTV thing; where is the footage of those sightings?

It's for sure tricks played by staff on each other.

  • hmm never had an experience myself

  • I could'nt do a job like that down there... unless someone was with me, im just scared of doing things like that on my own.

  • with all the cctv in the underground you would of thought there was some footage or something?!

  • (at 5:23) the ghosts have started a band!

  • anyone have the soundtrack for this or know any songs used?

  • @gunzndead The song at 2:52 is called Ovary Stripe by Kasabian, i found that out yesterday :)

  • marvelous

  • Anybody knows the music that starts at 5:09?

  • @sphereballs tracks called Wrong Belief by Agonize on the album Paranoid Destruction.

  • with the doors slamming i would say that someone who works there has some level of PK

(PychoKinesis) who has a subconsiouly remembered that this place is haunted

kind of like hypnotism where you subconciosly tell some one to do something and even though they dont remember being told to they will do it

  • @KayaAngelStudios Sounds quite likely. I think a test should be done where you take a random sample of humans. Pay them to sleep in a building and record what they see/hear/feel. Next day start a rumour that the next building they are sleeping in will be haunted. Again they record what they see/feel/hear. Then compare the results. Will the 2nd night have more ghost reports than the first one?

  • @STEPHENWRAYSFORD33 probably but what if they all find out that its fake?

  • @KayaAngelStudios If they find out the purpose of the experiment then that would invalidate the test. But they should just be told as little as possible, just told they will be taking part in a test about perception. A problem now is that there is lots of debate about ethical research and 'informed consent' so it's probaby true that the test i described wouldn't be allowed to happen because people are supposed to be informed now about the exact purpose of the tests they are taking.

  • @STEPHENWRAYSFORD33 okay we have just had an unbelivably long talk about ghosts

im only ten so im now kinda lost

  • vic your taikong shit ghosts exist

  • Do unhappy deaths lead to hauntings?

  • @wasilaify Let's the answer is yes. What would follow then is that millions of poor soliders died very unhappy deaths in WWI in a very small area of land. In just a few miles, hundreds of thosands of men died unhappily, so there should be tens of thosands of ghosts around these areas today. Strangely though ghost hunters instead focuss on old theatres and tube stations where only a few people have probably died. It seems ghost hunters don't bother with areas with huge mortality rates..

  • OMG I SAW A GHOST AT 3:27 LOL !!!

  • How do they clean down there thoroughly? Do workers begin cleaning after the tunnels empty of people?

  • @DarkAngelrace When the stations shut down for the night, the workers with a night shift clean the networks and inspect/repair the track before the next days trains start.

  • @DarkAngelrace Yeah they clean after public hours, I'd be terrified working down there. You'd be without anyone really, and it's so big and quiet. WOO

  • This infrasound thing doesn't sound believe-able to me. A ghost is obviously going to be at a sound lower than most humans can hear(animals can hear more than a human btw). That is why electronic recording devices tend to catch these voices even when no one else hears it.

  • Sorry everyone but I'm rather skeptical about the existance of ghosts. There is no hard evidence to prove their existance as far as I can tell. I think science will explain all the problems and strange things which are not properly understood. 400 years ago the world was full of myths, superstitions and belief in magic. My message to people is to put your faith and trust in reason and the scientific method and to avoid supernatural explanations, however nice or appealing they can sound.

  • @STEPHENWRAYSFORD33 Yeah I agree, I never used to believe in ghosts but I do now, but when you hear it from someone you trust like family share what they have seen you begin to believe it. If you've never had someone you trust had an experience and you just hear about ghosts from some random guy, well yes it is hard to believe.

  • @Kris393 I understand your point. You want to believe a family member is A) honest & B) not easily fooled. One point to make is most ghost encounters don't involve seeing a ghost, they involve doors slaming, low temperatures, floorboards creaking, objects moving, etc. All these can have natural explanations I think. Also Hallucinations can be created by a range of things , look up Joan of Ark or William Blake, both suffered from hallucinaitions throughout their lives.

  • @STEPHENWRAYSFORD33 i believe in ghosts. i've seen them, felt them. NONE of my family members believe me and that's cool with me. It's up to the individual. Despite my having had numerous experiences. sometimes with them present. they can feel emotions but can't get any more than that. i get more.

  • @FaithWhite You say that you've seen and felt ghosts. Could you please tell me a bit more about what you saw and felt and if anyone else was there at the time? Could you also please tell me what time of day it was, where you were & how long it had been since you had slept & how long you saw the ghost for and what form it took. Thanks

  • 8:14 How do you spell the disused tunnel name?

  • I agree with Johfunu, the voice over says that the cctv is constantly running....

I still believe but would be nice to see atleast one of the footage.

  • I agree with Johfunu, the voice over says that the cctv is constantly running....

I still believe but would be nice to see atleast one of the footage.

  • the guy who's trying to disprove the existence of ghosts and spirits is annoying.... plus he got it wrong.

spirits are beings who are at peace and come through to visit their family

ghosts are beings who can not pass to the airy void and are stuck here by something.

  • Where did you watch this, this is a good film?

  • first guy, 1978 hyde park, thats a long long time ago!! wow.

  • Has anyone seen Creep....Thats enough to put you off going there..

  • good film

  • @animalroadshow Creep oh my goodness after this film i creepy feelings when i use the underground every day ... hope i never miss the last train ...

  • Haha definitely!

  • @animalroadshow

Such a good film :P i have watched it like 10 times :L

  • @animalroadshow agreed. I cant help thinking about that film when im catching the tube at night

  • @animalroadshow Oh yeh i remeber 1st time it came out on C4

  • @animalroadshow What's creep?

  • @RaeRae914

It's a horror film based in the London underground. Freaky as fuck if you watch it at two in the morning alone.

  • @BeTheDeathOfMe Really..sounds scary ,,im gonna watch it tonight lol

  • @BeTheDeathOfMe I watched at 3:17 :3

  • amazing architecture

  • My dads motorbike went missing down there only to show up like a year later untouched. Perhaps spirits can't afford the underground.

  • did you get any money for the petrol

  • Walking around those empty stations at night could make you go a bit stir crazy. I've walked through the tunnels once, on a tour. I could imagine if your alone, your imagination can play tricks. Also, the LU is full of wind up merchants playing tricks on each other.

  • @Jeorney what do you mean by wind up merchants?

  • @owmycheek Teasing or playing tricks on the gullible

  • @Jeorney ffs u killed it-.- its a good story though:P and i believe it.

  • @Jeorney Wow you can go on tour through the tunnels?

  • @amarsbarr It was when I used to worked with the underground years ago, we had a night time tour as part of a welcome package. I don't recommend the tunnels. You can get Weil's disease from rats urine (nasty), asbestos problems & its filthy black with graphite. Also, its hot & airless down there, which is why trains have flat face to pump the air through the network. Without training, keep away.

  • @Jeorney I didnt think about those other aspects, damn cant they get rid of the possible spread of diseases and clean it up down there. What about the workers today, aren't they protected?

  • @amarsbarr Not without shutting down the service for a long time. Rats are hard to control, and asbestos will break into dust particulates and spread throughout the network. What they do is regulary coat it with a heavy paint. They use precautions such as masks and coveralls. Anything dangerous has to get a temporary waiver. If you like the idea of underground places, try potholing or caving. A natural tunnel system is better than an old victorian labrynth.

  • the music is very atmospheric

  • This is some freaky shit.

  • Yeah I always feel scared watching this, A Haunted, Haunted Britain, when I'm alone in the dark very late at night. But it's very interesting!

  • a good place to store fine wine.

  • Comment removed

  • 1:56 oh yes high levels detected yet the screen is clearly either off or not displaying anything

  • its probably showing something...but the fact you cant see anything is to do with the angle you look at it....extreme angle viewing at the screen often shows a dark screen.....but there is an image there

  • right if you say so but i do think that some of these stories are made up

  • LCD dont show image from the sides.. just like ATM machine screens

  • is in the gap of the two walls?because maybe i can see it!!!

  • wher in the picture?i cant see it!!!

  • Does anyone know the name of the song that's played just before the staff Barry Oakley tells his story at Hyde Park Corner? When the narrator is explaining about the escalator service?

  • @amarsbarr: Space: Neighbourhood. I think.

  • Thanks MusicalElistist1 lol I've actually got this song on my pc, I love Space, but unfortunately it's not them, but thanks anyway :)

  • oh damn! i see it!

  • Yeah I saw the figure too.

  • " barrys collegue never returned..." if he left me after sayin he saw a face and that, i wud fuckin go mad. i aint stayin here alone after u say that...

  • did you see the black figure behind him at the end of the video?

  • what time and where abouts?

  • yhh was it wen he was measuring the noise in the tunnel thing Right at the very end, and he says " the whole attmosphere is incredible "? bcos i saw some black figure in the background

  • i love how they say goose pimples lol :)

  • lol

  • most haunted should come here :)

  • they did do a prgramme in one of there live shows, where they didnt see light for a week or sumin cant remeber which route the did tho

  • oh really? i must have missed that one then! thanks for letting me know :)

  • It was a really good investigation, was frightening

  • i'll have to make sure i see it then :)

  • kitty

  • but strangely no mention of werewolves ?? American or otherwise ;O)

  • i almost died when i was a toddler (one of my family members tried to kill me) and i tell u, i've seen ghost before i couldnt' figure it out because i just didn't understand why i kept see ghost. i would have dreams of getting killed (nigtmares) while growing up also but my Aunt confirmed what i always suspected. anyway you want to believe me or not, it's your choice i don't blame you because i still can't believe it myself.

  • ciik bitchag

  • BOOOOOOOHHHH

  • I have chills! Wonderful.....on to part three!

  • You're so cute! LOL.

  • There is always some asshole trying to explain the unexplainable

  • These are interesting but one thing thats lame is that theres no CCTV footage of any of these events. There was a guy in the first part of the vid saying he couldnt see anyone around but ther guy on the phone said there was a guy next to him the whole time...where is the footage? Shame cos its interesting but lacks evidence.

  • It's a shame aswell cause i do believe the underground is haunted..

  • @Johfunu theres no CCTV footage of any of these events<<<-- Maybe by the time they produced this show the CCTV footage was erased ,,

  • @Johfunu IT'S A CONSPIRACY....MI6 DESTROYED THE FILM.. BECAUSE IT IS ALL RELATED TO MILITARY EXPERIMENTS.. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT WANT US TO KNOW...

  • @Johfunu Its remarkably interesting that some of the places where crypts but not thats suprising.

Its sad that they where berial grounds though or sites, but yes I would have to agree with you, I am sceptical about all of this kind of stuff.

I am not a big believer in ghosts, but spirits yes.

  • Mass transport railway in London looks like WWII bunker. However, it is nice architecture.

  • Honestly, it looks mundane compared to the underground in Moscow. Seriously, it's like a subterrainian palace.

  • I didn't like when they said they unearthed all those bones and shit. Scary as Hell

  • i lived in Shadwell London E1 about 10 years ago, that tube station was haunted, it was eerie when you was down there alone at night , and there was always an eerie sound of water dripping, and the station wasnt a modern one in them days it was old and unkept

it was said that it was haunted by a man who had jumped in front of a train many years ago and was said to be seen walking about down there from time to time, i never did see the ghost but it was bloody spooky down there.

  • SCARRRREHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • That woman at 1.16 is far scarier than anything mentioned in the interviews..

  • There are still a lot of underground stations which are sealed and havent been disturbed for years. scaaaaaaaaaaaaaary!!

  • They should conduct a tour of all the locked up tunnels, that would be wicked :] "Londons uknown crypts" I would love it, an i'm sure thousands of others would too...

  • I would! That would be awesome...but real scary too!

  • on halloween? LOL fuck that! i wud b so scared, but most people wud pretend to not b frightened and try to scare others. u no those projectors, like hollograms? they shud do that on the tour, like make a little girl walk past :P

  • Which ones ?

  • What makes this particularly intriguing is that the reports are all from seemingly lucid members of staff. Especially the Kennington Loop incidents which have been recounted by different people who have never met.

  • Yea they are some truth to that it seems,Creepy being the ticket guy sitting @ the back yourself for like 15 mins while it sits in the tunnel.

  • i feel the need to watch this with only seeing half the screen. this is creepy...but very intriguing.

  • Phew...I'm pretty glad that Amersham station isnt underground
