I think part of the point of this video is that there is a reason why the man is lying down, but its the way the others press on with their curiosity and demand an answer and assume the reasons when the man wants to just be left alone. He is doing something different or unusual to them and they can't understand it (or can't stand it) nor would they be able to because they're looking at it with their own assumptions and perspectives. They are not ready to take responsibility for the knowledge.

The lyric seems to transmit this, listen: 'One day he'll get to you and teach you how to be a holy cow... One day I'll get you and teach you how to get to purest hell' (the band advice about the oppressed one' thoughts). Finally this part is the thought about which constant the depressed one thinks:

After the guy falls the band wants to transmit how the depressed one feels about others. The depressed one thinks that confessing is going to affect all around him and that they will fall JUST like him... It is not necessary real, but the depressed one feels this way, he´s caught and he thinks that everyone who cares about him is going to concern (to fall in the same depressive soil)

Listen, I think this is the video´s meaning: The guy has problems (he`s depressed) and he does not want to bother anybody, the people who surrounds him do not understand and he does not want to say anything to them ... why? Because he believes that once confessed, all the people will fall in depression... At the beginning he was walking normally but when he falls (in the depression) it makes stumble to someone... i think that when the guy lays down in the street, he is under thom's window, hearing the words speak to him. so he has a revelation, turns into a prophet, and starts a religion. don't drink the kool-aid. maybe that's why thom looks confused from the window. something lost in translation that can turn a statement of purity into a scourge. why does personal responsibility suddenly become martyrdom? is it so hard to carry your own weight?
