  • This man represents (Montana's dissenters included) less than one million souls.

I'm having a lot of trouble remembering when it was, exactly, that the US elected President Baucus.

  • Liberals all crying a river because THEIR side came up with a bill that would require them to pay for the coverage that LIberals asked for.

    Everyone gets coverage

Insurance companies can't deny coverage for pre-existing conditions

Yet the libs cry NO, NO, we want other people to pay our bills. You can't pass a bill that requires us to pay for ourselves. That's just not right.

  • Drop him off a building

  • Baucus is the most ignorant, uninteligent creature I've ever heard of. How can anyone possibly be this stupid? Baucus & the GOP cannot seem to grasp the fact that everyone sees through their shameless fiasco of sucking off, whoring & slutting for the greedy, shitter insurance company executives. We're sick to death of this SHIT! STUPID SONS-A-BITCHIN' WHORING GOP CONGRESS & THE DOUCHE BAG INSURANCE EXECUTIVES DESERVE TO BE LIQUIDATED! THEY ARE SITTING ALONG SIDE OF EVIL, LUSTING FOR GREED!

  • How can you blame the Gop. You better realize it's the democrats doing this bs! DEBT DEBT DEBT

  • pass the house version!!!! support the public option,,baucus bill stinks

  • Public option. Do you even know what the bill really is. If you like government in your life, then go for it. I LIKE FREEDOM.

  • GREAT ,,ILL TAKE THE PUBLIC OPTION AND YOU CAN HAVE WHATEVER YOU WANT,,,THATS THE OPTION,,,get it? those who need it will choose it,,,those who dont ,,it dosent affect you...

  • lol ure statement is ironic. how will you have goverment in your life if its an "OPTION" lol. u ignorant republicans

  • Stupid stupid. See your already fooled by option. The bill states you can keep your insurance, but if anything changes. You'll get kicked into the government system That's the option. Like I said, id you like government you'll like this. ASK YOURSELF ONE THING. IF THIS HEALTHCARE REFORM IS SO GREAT. WHY IS CONGRESS EXEMPT

  • The man constructed a healthcare reform bill that will cut 500 biliion dollars from Medicare and Medicaid (largest cut is about $125 billion to private Medicare Advantage managed care plans that serve around 25 percent of Medicare beneficiaries). I cannot believe what I'm seeing. He is a fool........He ought not to be appointed for the job..

  • We should call this the Billionaire Wealthcare Bill. Baucus is a snake.

    TERM LIMITS NOW

  • Baucus is a vile creature that only represents corporation's best interests. Flush these turds in 2010!

  • Time for action against the bue dogs

  • Nancy pelosi already said thanks but no thanks. My bill is better. On the other hand thank God this fucking committee is no more responsible for the bill from now on. If this bill stayed with them one more day we have to cut the spider webs in the room

  • Baucus sold his soul the to the insurance compenies

  • BAUCUS has got to be removed from OFFICE!

  • This bill is dead. Never get out of committee.

  • Hell yea, we gotta stand up for what is right. Insurance company CEOs need our money more than we do. Who cares if medicare implodes in 7 years and all old people will be unable to afford healthcare... free market bitches. If we give enough money to insurance companies they will fix it all. They have our best interests at heart and would never dream of making a profit at the cost of lives. Government = evil. Corporations = can do no wrong.

  • whatever happened to bills originating in the house first?

  • it's time for a tax protest. no taxation without representation. they are not representing the best interest of the people whatsoever. people need to get over all of the left vs right BS and wake up. vote the bums out

  • I feel that this is such an important issue, one that's been in the forefront for many years and it needs to be handled by the people and NOT the government. I say this because they are not under this plan so why should we allow them to TELL us what we are going to do or what's good for us? We don't need them to think for us...Screw em all!

WE THE PEOPLE WILL DESIGN OUR OWN PLAN AND IT WILL BE VOTED IN BY A PUBLIC VOTE AND NOT THROUGH CONGRESS FIRST!

SAY NO AND LETS GET TO WORK!

  • Why don't you just admit obama has threatened you in to believing he's the next dictator of America and if you don't stand with him, you'll be placed in the same boat as the rest of us. Sounds sinister but we live in a sinister nation with sinister leaders in office so how else could it sound? There has to be some explanation as to why these politicians are telling us to F off. Do they honestly feel we could never remove them? It sure seems that way. Let's show em who the boss is in 2010!

  • why is our government against a public option?

    it totally makes sense.

  • SAYESTOHEALTHCARE1:

I suggest you take the Ted Kennedy approach on life. Maybe with people like you out of the way we will be able to do something productive.

  • if you beleive this won't cost one cent more you might as well put the barrel in your mouth and your toe on the trigger.

  • dmaul7:

The bill is a joke. If you actually read it, you will find that they plan to cut $507B from medicare, and the other $349B is supposed to come from a tax increase. I also think it's ridiculous that they want to charge people $3800 for not getting coverage and impose a 35% fee for those that have individual coverage beyond $8000 and family coverage beyond $21000. You get fined for not having coverage and a fee if you have too much coverage.

  • Baucus,

Well, lets see what the insurance companies gave you to sell. How much money did the insurance companies give you sell their bill. Does it look a lot like what the insurance companies currently do? Did the insurance companies ask for better and quicker ways to deny coverage? Did the insurance companies establish easier ways for applying preexisting conditions and subsequent coverage denial? Did the insurance companies expand the denial of medical treatment and medication to kill more?

  • Baucus presents... :

    insurance company death panels

    Paying back his masters

  • making insurance mandatory is realy against the constitution, and yes i know with cars it's already that way,the gov should keep their nose out of it,unless all you dumbass's want another black hole that just keeps sucking money out of your wallets.

  • Obama said not ONE CENT! WTF!!!

  • he lied????

  • Fuck the insurance companies and especially Max Baucus

UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE FOR ALL! NO FUCKIN PUBLIC OPTION, TRIGGERS OR NANY OTHER STUPID BULLSHIT. SINGLE PAYER FOR ALL!

  • Making health insurance mandatory without an honest public option is like making mandatory racketeering. You HAVE to choose between one mobster or another, great...

  • We seriously need to set term limits on these fools.

  • Want to understand what's going on here?

Read "Sick and Wrong" a short article in the Rolling Stone magazine by Matt Taibbi.

It can be found on the Internet as well.

  • Individual mandate - public option = windfall for Insurance companies.

Search YT for "Wendell Potter" (ex-Cigna exec) for his take on this bill.

  • Any healthcare bill whether it includes a public option or not will only serve corporate interest. The drug companies, medical technology companies and insurance companies.

  • STICK YOUR MANDATE UP YOUR ASS!!!

  • I support health care for all but this piece of crap may have been written by big insurance companies. I guess when you get three million dollars from healthcare and insurance companies you draft THEIR wishes. TERM LIMITS NOW

  • He took @4,000,000 from the Health Care insurance industry. This is a good bill for the health care industry. Horrible bill for everyone else. The people will pay with pain, suffering and dying. The insurance companys with be rewarded to even higher profits. This is after all the "American way"

  • 856 Billion...after those worthless bailouts and now this? We shouldn't have allowed the bailouts. This preposterous.
