It took a little doing to figure out how to get the wiring to work, but I've successfully modified the design (ever so slightly - basically just shifting the wiring) to use an active/inactive block to trap the birds over the pressure plates, removing the need to manually place and remove a block each time.

He forgot to say something, I built my own model, but what he forgot to mention is that if you go too far away from the birds in the machine, they'll despawn. Thus, you have to spawn them all over again. Actually placing the block between the statue and switches WITH the birds flying around is the hardest part. It's a good and small power generator, and can generate tons of cash if used correctly.

i think i have made a sort of improvement to your design

1. An active stone block to let the birds in without having to break the block

2.a dart trap to kill all of them to stop the never ceasing noise

@cuteskitty1000 just create a new world and look in the dungeons, you will find 5+ statues per dungeon run, if you are fast and effective, each run should take no more then 5-10 mins per run. Rinse and repeat and you will have multiple gold fish statues in no time.

@lilthepure Bats usually track targets, and don't just fly back and forth aimlessly, so it may not work as well.

Although it may still work, but you'd need to try it to find out.

@derrickderrick2000 Probably not, Bats are hostile mobs, meaning they will try and follow you. This means you will have to run across the machine for them to push the other 7 pressure plates. If you stay in one place, they'll all press only one Pressure Plate. Birds work much better.

@Yrimir Little tip: the hunter potion will light up mimics because they are enemies so maybe you could farm hunter potions and go caving.....?

@EpicCookie7 Either you use a hunter potion and see if there are chests that light up, or you use a spelunking potion and check for chests that dont light up. For the rest, you'll just have to go around caves. Good luck :)

@DeDutchDiamonds A good way to do EoW is to not do it too early. and make sure you have either a spear or grenades. aim the spear so its running parallel to his body, even better with a trident. Just throw the grenades anywhere at him, they do PLEEENTY of damage. Make sure you have at least silver armor, even better with gold or meteor. Usually I can solo him with a spear, silver armor and around 160 HP. Bring lots of potions.
