100+km winds & dense smoke, then these delicate hovering manouvres feet from the water!!! Repeated probably 100's of times.

Australians feel safer knowing you're in the skies at these terrible times.

its so horrible about the bushfires in victoria :( that helicopter went over my house a million times a couple of weeks ago cause there were 3 fires near by and they had to pick up water from the penrith lakes

im not usually for the death penalty. but sometimes there are people who just deserve it. it would be great if we could hold a referendum everytime something like this happens. just so we can get rid of the bastards

They are Erickson air crane helicopters. Initially we borrowed one or two from the US. There are now about 3 or 4 or 5 of them permanently in Australia.
