  • Thank you for uploading this!!!

  • Toaster: "Mother" of the group, even though he's characterized as male yet voiced by a female.

Lampy: Straight man comedy guy (think Felix of Odd Couple)

Radio: Fun-loving comedy guy (think of Oscar in Odd Couple)

Blanket: Blissfully innocent child (think of Tails from the early Sonic cartoons)

Kirby: The grumpy, drill sargent type. Acts like father of sorts to the younger members.

  • For some reason Lampy and Radio remind me of Crow T. Robot and Tom Servo from MST3K. I guess it's because both of the former are kind of naive in a way, if impatient, and both of the latter are a bit hammy. I'm not sure. I love their interactions, whether they're voiced by Lovitz and Stack or Suszyński and Smolińska.

  • the whole concept of this is so weird ...talking appliances

  • @JosephChrist863 But don't you just have to give credit to the company that made this movie and say you didn't make it? Every other video I've looked at that when they put that up it manages to stay on.

  • My Favorite Movie

  • Oh, the memories! I haven't seen this in years. Thank you for uploading this!

  • I came for the toaster, stayed for Little Richard

  • they should change his name to the epic little toaster!

  • I love you for posting this <3 This is my favorite childhood movie.

  • And this is why my computer and ipod have names XD

  • Love this movie!

  • Great movie! :)

  • This is the movie that gave me a love for computers. As well of giving personality to inanimate objects. lol

  • @JamesGunnSKYPANMEDIA I've done that ever since I was little. It's kind of fun. haha. Maybe the appliances will try to find me when I go on band tour next week. haha

  • shhhhh its the blanket..... love it

  • this was my favorite movie when i was like... 9

  • who could dislike this!!!

  • When I was a kid I couldn't stop watching this film. It's amazing! I shall watch it now :p

  • *silence*

    "...a car."

  • Does anybody else think of Crow from MST3K when they see and hear the lamp?

  • @IronShigeru He definitely looks like Crow and has his naiveté. He sounds a lot like Kevin McDonald (Pleakley from Lilo and Stitch, Tallest Purple from Invader Zim).

I had a dream one night where Lampy met Servo, and I can tell you that the latter reminds me a lot of Radio.

  • favorite show ever, i'd alwayyyys watch this as a kid! XD

  • Comment removed

  • @lotten1992 He's named Kirby because it used to be a popular brand of vacuum :) That's why he has such a random name compared to "Toaster" and "Radio" haha.

  • Thanks for the upload.

Now a query. If they do chores every day. Why would a spider web be built up between the books?

  • @elementdragon Spiders live just about anywhere if you leave them long enough :/

  • this thing is gay, gay gay gay gay gay

  • @EditsbyDoodle Then don't watch it smartass. This was posted for mature people who happen to want to remember some of their childhood movies or share them with their children- Not for people like you to spam.

  • @EditsbyDoodle so this movie is happy?

  • @EditsbyDoodle It may be to you, but to me and many teens and young adults its a cherished childhood memory. No need to be negative, just let us reminisce in peace.

  • That flower scene, it still cuts to the soul. Damn.

  • Oh man...nostalgia. Hard to believe this movie is as old as I am. (I was born October 7th, 1987)

  • From 1987, another great Disney classic. This movie may be a bit underrated, but its still a classic in my book. This brings back old memories.

  • I FINALLY FOUND IT! AFTER ALL THESE YEARS! THANK YOU SO MUCH! =D

  • the brave little toaster is so cool and i really like it

  • Beginning is creepy, then, it's ok....

  • we should be thanking you, for putting one of oiur childhood movies up on youtube. thank you XD

  • Why did you disable comments for the rest of the parts?

  • @TheMickiRae To prevent to much attention. It's not necessarily permitted to do things like this.

  • @JosephChrist863 well im pretty sure dinsey is not gonna nake good to sue you becasue after 5 to 6 years a movie can be broadcast on a station or youtube any public acess type thing as long as the broadcaster dose not sell it unless the owner of the film aloows it but this movie is way past that and as long as you dont sell reprduction copys your okay

  • @JosephChrist863 FUCK IT SOPA DIDNT PASS WE WON!!!!1

  • @JosephChrist863 Best reason to block comments i ever heard... thx for letting us know and thx for uploading these vids. u rock

  • This would NEVER happen in real life.

  • @TobiasBoon1980 Of course it would! Have you never heard of toasters that talk and go on magic adventures with their other appliance friends? Why in fact, mine just finished his last night! It was quite the tail that he told.

  • air conditioners still terrify me to this day....

  • YES!!!!!!!!! XD they have a snowflake on the little time bar thingy!!

  • This reminds me of my dad who I lost last summer. I will always watch this and think of him!!!

  • i'm 50 and i have always loved this show

  • did anyone notice the name of the animation producer was named GEORGE WANG

  • what kind of toaster did u use to make this vid

  • @fartface607 It's a cartoon movie, dude.

  • They need to remaster and release this movie, its sad that kids today dont know what this movie is :l

  • @Alliedjon12 The 25th anniversary is next year. Maybe it will have a huge theatrical re-release. Oh, and Jerry Rees is getting things settled to put together a 3D/CGI sequel for it.

  • @therealCrazyJake no way that is awesome! i hope it all comes through

  • @therealCrazyJake I'm certainly rallying for a big 25th anniversary release!

  • i haven't seen this for a long time even though i'm 17 i still love it

  • @Mewtwofangirl same here im 17 too I still got this on vhs :D

  • @4567jackthkiller my vhs got destroyed by a troll

  • Thanks for the upload!! My favorite scene is still the junkyard scene, so good!! I even remember drawing the yellow station wagon (that went to the beach) and its cracked left eye. The magnet and the compressor are so scary awesome!

  • looved this when i was 5 and now im 15 and still a good movie but i feel as if it is a complete mind fuck lol

  • favorite childhood film

  • i think iam triping balls

  • toy story is a lot like the brave little toaster!

  • Wow this is sure is a lot like Toy Story.

  • @fan0frammstein88 no toy story is allot like this this was before toy story

  • @fan0frammstein88 Or Toy Story is a lot like this! The Brave little toaster came first :)

  • Has anybody else realizd that this movie is a metaphor for christianity? They're looking for their one true master (God) and at the end the brave little toaster sacrifices himself for the others (Jesus). And that whole exploding air conditioner thing? I guess he was an atheist. Moral: Believe in God, or go mad and explode! :P

  • @Jemma1999 I'm an atheist. I don't think im going to explode anytime soon

  • @TiberiumIsl337 Me too. That's what I find so funny about it.

  • @Jemma1999 I think you're reading wayyyyyy too much into it.

  • @Jemma1999 In the middle of the film, Lampy also sacrifices himself (or if you're Polish, herself) for the others.

  • 8:43 Prophet Blanket at work here XD!

  • they should bring all of the old movies back

and put them dvd like they did with lion king

  • I love this movie almost as much as i love the fox and the hound

  • I love this movie -- thanks!

  • I haven't seen this in years!

  • I loved this movie when I was younger... Now it scares the fuck out of me (16)

  • does anybody know the animated movie that like takes place in the desert? i think there like a big truck in the movie or something thats all i remember but i know its an animated movie and its probably around the 2000's

  • @379peterbilt530 maybe its the rescuers down under

  • @379peterbilt530 Maybe "The Rescuers: Down Under"?

  • Now i just have 1 fucking question. IS THE BRAVE LITTLE TOASTER MALE? OR FEMALE?

  • @SmurfDaWeb, I think all five of the friends are males, including Toaster. Toaster was voiced by a woman actor, but so have a lot of male cartoon characters.

I read that in the German dub, a male actor voiced Toaster because he behaved masculine, and a woman voiced Blanket because he behaved feminine. I never saw Blanket as feminine, I always saw him as an innocent child.

  • Comment removed

  • @ZebrasFirst As for Toaster, s/he's still male in the Polish dub, but is voiced by a woman (Lucyna Malec).

  • @SmurfDaWeb: Dirsch, the writer of the source novella, posed this question in response, "Appliances have genders?" He only made Toaster male, because back then, all the title heroes in stories were male.

  • omg i loved this movie when i was little one thing that sticks out in my mind though was that the air con machine scared me

  • @TheOrionStar I was going to comment and the say exact same thing. I remember freaking out when the AC goes batty.

  • My mom didn't like this movie when I was little. Said it was too scary. But I didn't care because LOVED it. The part when Radio turns on at the beginning always made me jump because I could never remember the exact moment when it happened.

"Worthless" and "City of Light" are by far my favorite songs in this movie and my favorite part has to be when the fish is using the worm as a microphone. XD

  • @Boundwithflame23 OMG! Same here! The radio always made me jump at the beginning xD

The air con also scared the life out of me; not to mention that bloody magnet thing at the end ._.

  • dear JosephChrist863 i was wondering if you could upload the original Land before time movie well a few of them actually

  • I remeber this movie also the other ones, i also recall being at a block buster in newcastle washington state... I threw a hissy fit right in the middle of the store. It was because i Absoulutly loved this movie. and i didnt want to return it. and because i think i wanted the next one i love this movie

  • I haven't seen this movie since I was 6. Wow.

  • @Darkbreakthechain Me 2 i mis it

  • Oh, and can you make these videos mobile? So I can watch them on the go?

  • The clown dream was scary. I remember it and it's been about 16 years since I've watched this.

  • can anyone list some other classic cartoon films of the 80-90s era? as Ive completely forgetten many

    thanks

  • This is the one film that has stuck with me longer than any others. Radio is an interesting character, and Toaster is one of my favorite characters.

  • OMG i just soo love this movie it is one of my all time favourite cartoon films and it just reminds me of the awesome times of when I was a kid, so glad i grew up at this time when films were awesome :):)

  • Make this part on mobile please

  • How do you teach a child about suicide, martyrdom, homosexuality, torture, and abandonment without traumatizing them, and taking away their innocence? Show them this movie!

If you gained your first insights into any one of these things because of this movie, give this comment a thumbs up.

  • my favorite character was the vacuum

  • O_O; I am really scared to learn that Tim Stack, town drunk on My Name is Earl is Lampy...

  • @aoinatafanboy84 How about in Poland, Lampy is Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty? And Radio is Wakko from Animaniacs?

  • @Atheneastro maybe, international VA is interesting but more broad.

  • @aoinatafanboy84 In fact, I didn't even know that Stack was on 'My Name is Earl'. Or that Toaster wrote 'My Favourite Martian'.

  • Thumbs up if your 17+ and watching this

  • @TheTjerty Thumbs Up! I'm 27 and watching it. I remember this when I was 8 years old.

  • @aoinatafanboy84 you was 8 I was 4 I barely remember anything when i was 4 but i remember this movie....

  • @CTDify I remember it really well. Seeing it all last night helped. I still remembered the main parts.

  • Thank you :')

  • Man! I havent seen this cartoon for more than 15 yrs!!

  • i havent seen this movie in like ten years thank you so much for uploading this holy crap it brings back memories i miss the good old days :'D

  • you didn't have to monetise these videos, in fact, that would be illegal. Then these videos would get ads if you became partner ..... I think.

    5:36

  • People disliked this because they are modern 10 yr olds with their ipads ipod and whatnot. thanks for this, make me remember a whole lot of trouble i caused back then .

  • @WhentheworldendsWWYD I just remember the good times, any of the bad, just deal with the true sorrows of the film.

  • the blanket was always my favorite and i havent seen this since i was 10

  • @alymike05 then I guess we are at odds since Kirby was my favorite. He still makes me laugh.

  • I havent seen this movie sense i was 5! And i loved the soap blanket guy!

  • can't even get through the first part without getting teary eyed lol.....oooo memories

  • I LOVE YOU

  • Something weird happens on my VHS at around 08:55 to 08:59, and I can hear the "A car!" before anyone actually says it. It doesn't seem to appear on here.

  • Holy shit, I barely remember this movie, I used to watch this alot. I typed the word toaster and this came up O.O I remember watching this when I was a kid.

  • OK I WAS ALWAYS SCARED OF THE VACUM WHEN WATCHING THIS, THOUGHT HE WAS EVIL. SO I SAID HEY ILL WATCH THIS MOVIE AGAIN BUT I COULDNT REMEMBER THE NAME, :( THEN RANDOMLY MY FRIEND POSTS A PICTURE ON FB OF ALL 3 TOASTER MOVIES FOR SOME REASON OMG OMG AND LOL DONT KNOW WHY I WAS SCARED OF THE VACUM AT THE BEGGING, ITS THE REASON I COULDNT FINISH THE MOVIE LOLOLOLOLOLOOL

  • I just realized how obscure that last reference might be :P

  • And the air conditioner sounds just like the guy trying to break into the car in Day of the Tentacle!

  • Is it just me, or is that Tony the Tiger doing the vacuum cleaner's voice?

  • ooohhhh so THIS is the reason i love the song tuti fruiti. i remember now :]

  • lord dis is a major throwback i remember having movie as a child back wen vhs tapes n vcr's were boomin' lol (memories yo)

  • @dede5500 me too! brought back lots of memories. im nearly 18 now and miss movies like this

  • @tannerturlington lol yup

  • Do you remember wanting to run through the plains of Africa with Simba?

Swing through the jungle with Tarzan?

Go to the enchanted castle with Belle?

Go to the ball with Cinderella?

Ride a magic carpet with Aladdin?

    Save China with Mulan?

Shrink to toy size to play with Buzz and Woody?

Turn into mer-people and go under the sea with Ariel?

If you do want Disney to come back, repost this in many videos to spread the message and thumbs up to keep this comment at the top.

  • @AnimateCait93 Of course we all wish we could do those things, but remember, Disney is still here...and it always will be.

Like how we wanted to sing jazz with Tiana and Naveen

    Ride Maximus with Flynn Rider

Venture into the future with Wilber Robinson

Travel back to the hundred acre woods with Winnie the Pooh

or travel fast with Lightning McQueen

These things are still here, and just because Disney is a little different doesn't mean that it's gone...the past must remain behind us.

  • @TheEpcotexpert: The past mustn't be forgotten, however. That erases the heritage companies like Disney have made for themselves. In fact, the 2011 Pooh film was purposely done as a throwback to the original shorts.

  • Song: "Tutti Frutti" by Little Richard

  • Damn, Appliances cleaning my house?! Yes please!

  • This movie used to scare the crappity crap out of me when I was a kid D:

  • Only one of the best movies ever made, it's mine and my families childhood memory, my brother bought it at a store while he was in VA but it's on VHS and idk if any of ares work to be honest so thanks so much for uploading :-)

  • Well this movie didn't scare me when I was seven or anything...

  • @Quarrelt

Not even that clown during the Toaster's nightmare sceen? "RUN"

  • @TheCosmicFireStar What I meant was that it scared me but I was saying it sarcastically. And yes, that part definitely scared me.

  • This is a seriously dark, twisted children's movie. I must've been a dark, twisted child because it was my favorite movie when I was a kid lol

  • Radio is my fav character but he's creepy because he doesn't have a face, besides a clock face anyway.

  • @TheJJHardy He reminds me of Servo from MST3K. Or as it came after, Servo reminds me of Radio.

  • this story was so weird for me wen i was young xD

  • @snorrie60 same here lol

  • such a creepy childhood movie for me...

  • Was anyone else scared of the Air Conditioner when they were little? XD

  • @Jessicanana89 Yes, he was terrifying!

  • When I was little I had a crush on Lampy...

I now realize how wrong that was..

  • There's only one thing I don't like about this movie-- the fact that it just had to end... :(

  • @Aangbabe It had two sequels, though.

  • this movie is epic!! me and my sisters grew up watching this show.and now am 25 and all 3 of us are still watching this movie and others Childhood movies. :) <3

  • I came here on my own free will. I needed time to kill until 4. So I'm watching this cause, I grew up watching this show. 25 and still watch Childhood movies.

  • i watched this movie so much, i broke the tape. so much love for this film!

  • Wow, I remember this movie. As a kid, this was probably my favorite movie! :D

  • this movie is epic!!! my brother and I used to watch this movie until it drove my parents nuts! haha

  • Oh man.. just the intro alone brings back fond memories as a child. I wore my VHS copy of this out when I was younger due to watching it so often.

  • @vulcan22222 Same here... Wish I had another copy or something though. Maybe I'll find one on the internet or something.

  • TOAST! Get the hint?

  • this is my all time favorite movie of all time!

  • Did anyone know the voice of Kirby the vacuum is also the voice of Tony the Tiger?

  • @starlaasmith It's true!
