@fabianelreyes Thanks a lot, man. I actually didn't get this off of tabs. It's just my rendition of the song by ear. It's not the "right" way to play it, but it works. Considering I am trying to sing, whistle and play guitar at the same time, I just do what I can. lol
@mess58x I have thought of doing so for quite some time, but I am either very busy or I just never get around to it. We'll see what happens. But thank you for the compliment.
wow the guitar is practly perfect but is only perfect in the hands of the guitar god(slash) but if i wasn't watching the video i would think it was axl from the good old days
That was amazing, dude! I want to learn it, but it looks hard and I can't use my fingers like that. Can a beginner like me pull it off with a plectrum?
The way I play Patience isn't terribly hard -- in fact -- I just play it the way it sounds to me (probably has inaccuracies).
Yes, the difficulty increases a bit if fingerpicked, and increases A LOT if attempted while singing. But, I definitely think it is feasible for a beginner with a pick minus the singing! GOOD LUCK!
Very good man. A+ .; btw: the first line of your description is pretty funny. These fools out here ARE brutal bastards. Especially the ones who criticise harshly yet don't play an instrument. Again. good job.
I don't necessarily think you HAVE to play an instrument to criticize, though. In fact, some of the harshest elitists assholes out there are the ones who DO! lol
Have I mentioned how truly talented you are...hmm i think so lol Straight from the heart, as always.. you have such a gift. This is ALMOST as good as the "live" version <wink>! Your future manager thinks this is the beginning of great things for u :)
Damn dude.. very impressive. Patience is one of my favorite songs by GnR and you nailed it. Though I woulda loved to see you do the solo. heh, but man that was amazing. Also it's nice to see people actually sing the song the way it's supposed to be sung and not butcher it. A job well done. Look forward to more music. :)
I love ballads to death, and most of my videos will probably be ballads for now until I get my amp and electric fixed up.
I would have loved to do the solo, but it just doesn't sound full without harmonic backing.
And yes...I'm not a big fan of people taking artistic license and butchering a classic by playing it in another style. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't...but Patience just wasn't meant to be sung in country style. lol
It does take some coordination to sing/whistle play at the same time, but when you're trying to jam out alone, you either learn how to do two things at once, or lose out on the harmony!
Hooray for the 80s that was awesome!! Try to play with more emotion though. Lol kidding. Thumbs up!!!!

@caioguns I knew one of those chords were off somewhere, but I was always too lazy to verify. You're talking about during the verses, right? Thanks.

@IndyCovaHart actually, every Am chord you did is supposed to be A (major)

Am I missing something, or isn't good ol' Axl an American, too? lol If he's not, then "One in a Million" just doesn't have the same ring to it.

your an idiot, this song is american, from an american band.
