  • Hooray for the 80s that was awesome!! Try to play with more emotion though. Lol kidding. Thumbs up!!!!

  • Nice cover. Are you a 7' giant or are you playing the Jr kiddie acoustic! The guitar looks so small.

  • you're good

  • Holy Crap!! You are very talented!! I would LOVE to see more of you singing...awesome voice!~One of your stuck in the 80s chicks!

  • Great cover! Seems easy ehe

  • good cover dude,.. just one detail....

you're playing Aminor everytime it's Amajor

  • @caioguns I knew one of those chords were off somewhere, but I was always too lazy to verify. You're talking about during the verses, right? Thanks.

  • @IndyCovaHart actually, every Am chord you did is supposed to be A (major)

    try it out!

  • Amazing.

  • here's a backhanded compliment - great job, now quit dickin around and make more gnr covers for youtubers to enjoy!

  • Fantastic cover bro! :)

    Please check out my version:)

    Greetings:)

  • amazing dude!!!! where can I get the tabs??? thank you for the video

  • @fabianelreyes Thanks a lot, man. I actually didn't get this off of tabs. It's just my rendition of the song by ear. It's not the "right" way to play it, but it works. Considering I am trying to sing, whistle and play guitar at the same time, I just do what I can. lol

  • Awesome cover mate 5*

  • dude velvet revolver is searching new singer!!

  • @killemall23 lol That's flattering. Where can I send in my application? If you know 'em personally, give them your endorsement of me. lol

  • you are great, can upload more videos?

  • @mess58x I have thought of doing so for quite some time, but I am either very busy or I just never get around to it. We'll see what happens. But thank you for the compliment.

  • @IndyCovaHart the 3rd chord is major not minor XD

since im portuguese i don't know how to spell the name of the chord in english XD

  • oh bless i think this is lovely.wen u said dnt b brutal i tort ud b crap.but im loving it!tanku 4 da cool sound

  • lol This is YouTube. People are brutal even when you're godly. Hence, the disclaimer.

  • hey that was good will u watch mine?i wanted to know wat people thought plz comment and rate thks

  • wow the guitar is practly perfect but is only perfect in the hands of the guitar god(slash) but if i wasn't watching the video i would think it was axl from the good old days

  • awsome

  • if i didn`t see the vid i would swear it was ole axl himself..you should try another one.. surprise us all..

  • not bad for an american

  • Thanks, I think?

Am I missing something, or isn't good ol' Axl an American, too? lol If he's not, then "One in a Million" just doesn't have the same ring to it.

  • your an idiot, this song is american, from an american band.

  • Yeah...that comment didn't quite make sense to me, either. lol Probably a self-righteous Brit.

  • Wow!!! That was amazing mate! Good luck with whatever you do in the future :)

  • very good

  • That was amazing, dude! I want to learn it, but it looks hard and I can't use my fingers like that. Can a beginner like me pull it off with a plectrum?

  • Thank you for the compliment. :)

The way I play Patience isn't terribly hard -- in fact -- I just play it the way it sounds to me (probably has inaccuracies).

Yes, the difficulty increases a bit if fingerpicked, and increases A LOT if attempted while singing. But, I definitely think it is feasible for a beginner with a pick minus the singing! GOOD LUCK!

  • Very good man. A+ .; btw: the first line of your description is pretty funny. These fools out here ARE brutal bastards. Especially the ones who criticise harshly yet don't play an instrument. Again. good job.

  • Thanks a lot. :)

I don't necessarily think you HAVE to play an instrument to criticize, though. In fact, some of the harshest elitists assholes out there are the ones who DO! lol

    Constructive cricitism is accepted anytime!

  • Dude. you make it look so easy.

  • Have I mentioned how truly talented you are...hmm i think so lol Straight from the heart, as always.. you have such a gift. This is ALMOST as good as the "live" version <wink>! Your future manager thinks this is the beginning of great things for u :)

  • LOL The reason it took so long to reply to you, hun, is because we talk all the damned time, so I figured it wasn't necessary. :)

BUT, JUST SO YOU DON'T FEEL OUT OF PLACE! MUAAAAAAAAAAA! ha ha ha

  • lol I'm gonna get you the hell outta Bristol, Jordy! ha ha ha

Assuming I do ever get famous, I definitely won't forget the people who deserve to be remembered. ;)

P.S.- Stay tuned...one or two of my next productions might be dedicated to ya. ;)

  • Damn dude.. very impressive. Patience is one of my favorite songs by GnR and you nailed it. Though I woulda loved to see you do the solo. heh, but man that was amazing. Also it's nice to see people actually sing the song the way it's supposed to be sung and not butcher it. A job well done. Look forward to more music. :)

  • Thanks to you, too!

I love ballads to death, and most of my videos will probably be ballads for now until I get my amp and electric fixed up.

I would have loved to do the solo, but it just doesn't sound full without harmonic backing.

And yes...I'm not a big fan of people taking artistic license and butchering a classic by playing it in another style. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't...but Patience just wasn't meant to be sung in country style. lol

  • dude that was the best cover ive everseen that was amazing keep it up and that would ave been heaps hard to whistle and play keep playin gd work

  • Thanks a lot, man!

It does take some coordination to sing/whistle play at the same time, but when you're trying to jam out alone, you either learn how to do two things at once, or lose out on the harmony!
