Um...Atemi is striking, not falls.

That being said Ukemi has a ton of value. Of everything I've learned in 20+ years of Karate, Aikido, and the military, I have used that more than anything else.

Of course, I did two tours, I mountain bike, rollerblade, and paintball. So I fall down alot more often than I get in fist fights.
