But songs like this (FOTM), when the GD were groovin hard, make me feel so good. I lost myself for a while, but in the past year or two I've been coming back home, getting my center back, with the help of the music of the Grateful Dead and the solo music of Jerry Garcia.

I'm not trying to argue or anything...just sharing some friendly discussion. But dude, the Scarlet section of your vid is definitely different from the archived copy of 12-26-81. I can hear the edit at 1:08. Listen to the last 1:08 of the mp3 of Scarlet, then compare it to the first 1:08 of the vid. WAY different, no? Focus on Jerry's guitar. The notes he plays are totally different. Even his tone (wah vs. no wah).

Anyway, no biggie. Love the vid!

Hmmm...

I just compared it with the recording of 12-26-81on Live Music Archive. The Fire sounds EXACTLY the same, but the fade out from SB (0:00 to about 1:00) is very different...Jerry uses much more wah in his guitar and he burns up the frets in little Dimeola like bursts! Totally different!
