I just heard about these giants for the first time-actually I heard about giant cro-magnons, I don't think these are them, I believe these are fake.I do believe there were "giant" early humans. I don't understand why all the fighting. Evolution is not a theory anymore, it is a proven fact, and we can see animals evolving right in front of our eyes (elephants are losing their tusks).That evolution is real does NOT disprove God. I don't see how giants prove/disprove evolution, or religion.

@TheSignsoftheTime Thats fair to say but I don't think there is compelling evidence for a race of giants. Perhaps a few outliers here and there because there are examples of very tall people in today's society. I think the strongest argument against the existence of a race of giant humans is that the human skeleton is not meant to support such a large person. People that get into the very tall ranges of 7 or 8 feet + have serious health problems as a result. It doesn't make sense evolutionarily.

Such problems are common with a tradition that's passed on orally as was much of the old testament before it made the transition to written form. The notion that myths can be used as evidence for things that have not been proven to exist - or at least not reliably - is flawed in the extreme. The only reason we give the bible so much credit is because it's the common western mythology.

However, I believe we all have our skeptic views about "things" we have not seen & we have the basic right to believe the "things" are false until it is proven to be true or false. One thing is for certain, just b/c we have not seen it personally, does not mean it is nonexistent or that it is a fake.
