Simple. Doritos are a chip with cheese flavor. He cuts one up and puts on a mouse trap. Mice like cheese. Instead of a little mouse, though, a big one busts through the wall and pummels the guy (of course it's a person in a suit, but still).

The "big mouse" twist was what made the commercial funny. It's...just that simple. Ha ha. Hee hee. Time to watch it again and enjoy!
