  • You would think that Prey's voice would be too high but not here. Very few sing both the Figaro from the Barber as well as the Figaro from Le Nozze. Prey manages it quite nicely.

    He sings the High E softly whereas Siepi sings the first F softly. Alas too many just lunge at the top notes or squeeze.
