@applejuicekate apple the thing about the hippy movement like any movement was that it was commercialized by the media, not every young person in the 60's was a hippy and of the hippys , not all of them did drugs. When the movement was over, most of them went back to whatever life they led before the movement became popular. It's like any trend, once the media gets ahold of it they try to make it bigger than it was. Most of those corporate officers were hippys when they were kids.

I think this video is cute and funny. I grew up through the 60's and 70's and I remember fashions similar to these though hippies mostly wore jeans and t-shirts and whatever they found at thrift stores. And hippies made fun of themselves all the time. If we learn to laugh at ourselves, we will never cease to be amused.
