Well, actually there's no real alternative to this game.. and as you can see from views. there's quite a need for a bus simulator.. actually, it's really a fun to play such a game. Things this one lacks:

- BASIC PHYSICS AND COLLISIONS (the bus is literally grounded, viaducts are just for decoration), you can pass through buildings etc.

- higher res textures... and passenger models. Bus models are quite nice, actually.

- engine optimizations... it has mid 90's gfx and can be really slow...

- traffic ! There's none. It's implemented for some maps but it's really basic (like, only buses, and people without any animation) and can slow the game down terribly.

-aww why it's in pascal ;p? Ah well, can't blame programmers for their choice, they've done it for free after all

-and yeah, it's freeware and open source, so what do you all expect? It won't have all the things above if noone will try to implement them..

At the end of the movie you can see a typical problem with this kind of busses. If the bus stop is not long enough the back part of the bus will remain curved, therefore you won't see the last door in the mirror. Very annoying.

It's not really a game, more a simulator. To be honest I used it when I was doing my real life licence for the busses to learn how the back of the bus acts in the turns and how to drive backwards.

If you are not a great fan of busses you probbably won't like it.

But they succeeded to make a REALISTIC simulator - not a game like Bus Driver, where you steer with arrow keys and see many beautiful graphic and sound effects - but a realistic driving model with real buses, parts of real cities
