In an interview I remember him saying that he hates iPods because of the sort of pick-and-choose attitude people have to music now because of mp3s, particularly skipping over tracks rather than listening to a record as a whole... at least that's what I got from it. I can't remember which interview it was.

I can't entirely agree with that statement, actually... certain albums just lend themselves to be listened to all the way through, and the iPod lets you do that *or* listen to individual songs... ^^;

MY thought is that hate the iPod if you will, but iPods are made for spacing out, too, and full listening to albums (If people want only one or a few songs, they shouldn't havve bought the album at all). That's why I save the iPod for albums that need close and deep listening, and the rest for CD players.
