Frank is so amazingly intelligent that it's insane. Everything he's saying is completely true and he says it all so elegantly. I really do agree; my generation needs to do something about the state of our country and our world. But I'm just afraid that we're all too desensitized to do anything.

In response to ebbixx: there is a moderate uptick in statistical prevalence of deadly prostate cancer that spreads quickly - exactly the type Zappa died from. Tobacco itself might not be the cause even, but many brands use chemical additives to create a more addictive effect. "Spiking" could be the cause.

Anybody can misstate a number and use the wrong word for an inhaler. When someone is being filmed for as much as he is, it is easy to extract a few phrases that are embarrassing. For instance, what you wrote above.

I loved in his autobiography when he talked about when he quit smoking once. People asked him "isn't it great that you can taste and smell everything now?" and he said No, that it was gross to be able to smell everything and he went back to it.
