Well done video :D cute frogs and toads. I love all your videos. I just recently rehabilitated two "Cape gray tree frogs" found them half fried I gave them water and food for 2 weeks and was able to release two healthy little frogs :) they were so cute. I will miss little Bubbles and Socrates, but I know they are better off where they belong.

I've given my toad and albino pacman fishbait worms from the local fishing store. Its basically a tub with earthworms and no chemicals or icky stuff - but they don't seem to like it. A new shop opened up in town and I bought some small locusts out of curiosity. The black ones with yellow spots. Dusted one, put my toad down, blinked, and it was gone. And before I knew it, another six were gone also. Looks like I found his favourite food. My amphib's will take worms, they like crickets more tho'.

i used to catch salamanders in the woods in tha northern part of my city..but quick question..your toads dont get sick or anything from eating the worms with the dirt????or is just natural because thats what happens in the wild??

Zeke isn't fat at all. Anyone who knows Pyxie frogs or "fat frog" would know that for a female frog, this is an average weight. She just started eating again a couple weeks ago. She was in aestevation for nearly 3 months.

Cool. Because I want to get a pet for my b-day in 3 months. I don't know what type of pet I want though cause there so many I want and plus on top of that I have only like 2 years till I go to college and I'm worried that I won't be able to take a pet w/ me to college.

They are pretty good pets, but not for handling as the tend to think of fingers as food with my experiences and they do get fairly large. So make sure you can meet all of its needs and do decent amount of research before you get one.

They're great pets if you like something to look at. Amphibians aren't for people who want to take their animal out for a free roam or handling. But if you like something to stare at, or something to feed they make good pets. And are photogenic, too!
