That is absolutely not the right way to wrap a knee. Just by looking at it, it is very tight. It looks like it is going to cause circulation problem later when you leave it like that. I agree with noharm, the word "victim" is a strange word to use. We call them "client" or patient in ER.
Ok, nice way of TEMPORARILY stabilizing an injured knee, but this in NO WAY should be used for long-term support and definitely NOT for sports. This method should ONLY be used to stabilize the injury until medical attention is received.
Absolutely WRONG! I would think its common knowledge to not cover the whole thing! eHow - please do some more research and redo this video. I hope no one who has watched this video has actually taped a knee this way! You would be causing more damage then good!
This is a horrific strapping! the strapping should not cover the patella and restrict all of the movement, this gives no support to the muscles or the ligaments at the knee.. useless
Hopefully this is an example of the WRONG way to tape a knee! To others who view this procedure, please DO NOT think this is accurate. Never wrap the WHOLE KNEE LIKE THIS. It offers no support and could lead to injury and stress blisters.(if the patient could even stand to walk on it) Sheesh...
Its the best ours are former and present students, and they all have training, and were athlets at some point, but the best is hot or cold baths we have
That is not correct. By taping a knee this way you can often so more harm then good. This provides no support to the surrounding muscels or the knee it's self. Maybe it's time you stop learning this kind of thing from YouTube and start going to the professional sports trainers and medical consaltants.
this is horrible. YOU should NEVER do things this way. you do NOT know what you are doing and need to be a CERTIFIED Athletic Trainer to be training people on these things.
i have a hockey knee injury and before my game i need to wrape my knee up. but i have watched this persons videos and everyone seems to think its all wrong . so i was wondering if you had any idea of how to wrap a knee properly

Using the word victim sounds a little strange. I would use patient or client.
