dont get me wrong i loved me2 but there were no memorable places that made you go "holy shat" or "omg this is beautiful" like in mass effect one were virmire and illos were breathtaking not only because of their rendering but because of the mood that they set for the game. The closest me2 came with this was when you first see the inside of the collector ship -___-.

first of all me2 was not has good has me1 if you think about it. They removed most of the rpg features from the first one and then there was the story in the 2nd one which was easy to forget about since the whole damn thing focused around getting team memembers which was at times boring. 2ndly you dont learn much about the reapers or much about the mass effect universe has a whole. The combat was much better i admit :). But ME is about story and ambition the 2nd one lacked both

They have to fix their fucking linear morality shit, combat AND come up with fresh ideas.

I mean you could only be full para or renegade or else you miss out on most morality related actions unlike ME1 where you could invest points in both.

Biotics were fucking ruined with global cooldowns and armour, Enemy behaviour was predictable as shit. While ME1 was fun, 2 was just hide/shoot recharge

AI needs to be improved, morality system needs to be improved, the RPG elements nearly non-existent in 2 need to be improved, the combat needs MAJOR improvement. And they only have less than a year to do this.

Instead they are going to simplify the shit out of it and make it a Halo\CoD clone with maybe 20 more romance options.

@ignas1130 To be onest i wouldent mind if it was a "named" game meaning a new game but doesent deserve a 3 next to it. For example Assassins creed brotherhood, instead of Assassins creed 3, fallout new vegas instead of fallout 4. Both stick with same engine, just have new story charecters ect. The reason i wouldent mind is because i thought the engine was fantastic, not saying perfect, a few tweaks here and there.

@teddybearhunter All of the games you mention arent true sequels though, theyre more or less large extensions/expansions of a particular sequel or the like. And they basically have stories and the like that dont figure into the grand scheme of the plot, sort of a side story, or a filler. Brotherhood is basically them dicking around in the Animus as they prep for where theyre going in 3, as its just expanding on Ezios story a bit more I believe,, and etc etc.

idk about everyone else. but i kind of don't want them 2 release Mass Effect 3 so soon. I want 2 play it and finish the story, but i don't think they should. I want them to sit back, work on the game for a while (another year or two) then release it when it's completely badass. They could do some things, like make the gameplay a little more cinematic. Maybe have some interactive cutscenes when u have 2 press buttons and u feel like u just did something crazy.
