  • @MrSanatra shit we aint ask yall to copy us

  • @paulandj who copy who?

  • @MrSanatra ny tryna make all dese club bangas and shit, shit be lame as hell leave dat to da south da south always had more den one style south got many different styles of hip hop but in ny everybody buss guns or rap about jus regular steet life we cant help it white people and mainstream started to like down south swag rap and blew it up if anything ny killed hip hop for not keeping dey shit alive da south still doin what we been doin.

  • @paulandj yea u deff right im from ny and all theses nikka do is spit gangster shit,or i shot 5000 people every day like fuck outta here, but to add on that ny rappers are all wolves, the south support eachothers rappers aka every1 fuck wit everybody, but here nikkas is lookin out for themselves so we all suffer due to this dickhead way of thinkin...but its wack cause now music is garbage, theres no substance if they ever banned-bitches,drugs,money,swagg or violence from hip hop nikkas would be poor

  • @MrSanatra That's not completely true. I mean, What about OutKast & Big Boi and Public Enemy,?

  • They been lookin at the numbers since the 90's

  • yea man its not just people like lil wayne or p.diddy or autotune its the fans too its the all out us we have to stop buying into commerical bullshit you cant kill hip hop but hip hop is corrupted because the industry is always thinking MONEY MONEY MONEY. you cant be mainstream and be a free artist because you got people out there telling you how to express yourself PURGE HIP HOP OF ALL THE FAKENESS

  • this radio station is awesome. nothing attempt to cover hiphop like how these guys doing it

  • @chiibiROXAS Lucky bastards!!! They have the OPTION of listening to Talib Kweli up there...shmeh.

  • hip hop has been reserrected.........check the page

    T.O.N.E.

  • what killed hip hop was people caring more about the sales and what they doin businesswise then focusin on the lyrics of the song

  • lol 2:29

  • hip hop died when 2 pac died....

  • @chulo6190 Tupac was all about rap he was never hip hop

  • @Thegame871 what does hip hop consist of community and the people effected it in it self awareness.. man you really dont know hip hop then... just cuz you only know 2 pac from shit like hail mary and hit em up dont make him just rap...

  • its that bitch, money, drugs shit..

  • ILLUMINATI KILLED HIP HOP

  • This show is wack.

  • Each coast has had it's own time The west coast time was the late 80's and early 90's the east Late 90's to like 2004 the south's time is rght now the south killed rap

  • I used to love hiphop, then I graduated grade school.

  • @endingsociety11 hiphop does'nt get old, u think this crap thats out now is grown man shit when the majority of people who buy this shit is 12 yrs old

  • @endingsociety11 then came down with the beiber fever

  • budden speaks the truth

  • What's up with you idiots - and I don't come on here and insult people - but real talk, straight up; you guys all have it misconstrued. Joe Budden is talking about the death of mainstream hip hop - obviously the underground is and will always be the central source for "real" hip-hop. Don't say Joe Budden is "Bitin" or any of this none sense. Listen to all his music before you make ridiculous comments like that. I understand opinions in music but you are now contorting facts here, that's wrong

  • @iamdeterminednow truthhh

  • 2 Live Crew Killed Hiphop

Puff Daddy Burned the Graveyard of Hiphop

Soulja Boy spat on the ALREADY burned ashes of the graveyard of hiphop

    therefore becoming a sterile culture....

At least the underground is still alive

  • @pong224 Lol! Good point.

  • Hip Hop is not dead, Mainstream hip hop dead, but if you go to the underground you'll see that hip hop is healthy.

  • @tomorownevercomes1 YES!!! I say that all the time...I was about to say it again but noticed I was beat to the punch....

  • say what you want about Joe but alot of true hip hop heads like myself agree with him.maybe our opinions but we're intitled to that . if you disagree ask some of those wack rappers to put their their rebuttle in a song and we'll see which is the better version.

  • Like i said before....Get these two in a battle and joe will be exposed for the fake ass rapper he is. SET IT UP MAN!!! SET IT UP!!!

  • The back burner and it'll make it's way back to the surface when the real lyricist flood the underground scene to the point were they can't be ignored! Personally I don't like the Soulja Boi's, Lil Waynes, Waka Flocka's in the game now because I think they suck really. I'm a 80s baby I grow up with consious rap, and real gangster rap! Not these lil wanna be ass niggas on the radio now, but I have to disagree with lame niggas who say hip hop is dead!

  • @nikobelic85 yur right! hip hop is not dead but dudes like joe, wayne, soulja are trying to kill it strickly for profit. thats where hip hop heads loose. Ellay kept his style tight and real never changed or sold out for commercial shyt. gotta respect that...reason he's not big is cause he slipped up on the buisness end of things. plus a lot of ellays stuff is just to raw and hard for kids to listen to. Kids dont get it till they grow the f up. And FUC JOE B. GET UR OWN STYLE THIEF!!!!

  • Besides in my opinion hip hop is not dead and it never will get killed off! When hip hop first got started it was about getting the party jumping, and making people move they asses on the dance floor. And those niggas was from new york! Only reason why niggas say hip hop is dead cause they heard they favorite artist whose record sales didn't top Soulja Boi's say hip hop is dead cause they're bitter. The 90s style hip hop with the smart lyrics and slick metaphors has just been pushed to the....

  • No 50 had a hand in fucking things up because he made that shit cool to start a beef before the album drops! I don't even follow rap beef anymore cause none of it's credible anymore! It's rarley about who is lyricaly better it's about whose mores street, and to be honest if you making millions nigga your not in the streets anymore trust me!!

  • Daaamn! straight fucin thiefed the whole product from Khule...So what happens when you catch a thief redhanded? Off with his hands!

  • dood is a biter nuff said, how can u make a song and take credit for it when you straight jacked it from someone else????? this song is trash compared to the real one and he sounds like another GAME wannabe!!!! nuff said

  • Did he realll think that he was gonna get away with this?? Taking another emcees TITLE AND THOUGHTS!!!???? you CHUMP! as$s NUCKA!!! you ain't gonna make it dog cause we're gonna bring you down homie!!!!!

  • joe budden is a fukken biter,,,he stole this song concept & title from me..i made it in 2004 on decon records its all public history..ellay khule whos killing hiphop..the video is on youtube.look it up.he aint original..he thought cuz im a underground la artist..people wouldnt found out..THATS WAK,,joe budden has skills//AT BITING!

  • @riflemania , joe budden is a biter, wasnt there a song by common that came out in 94 called i used to love her. by the way i listened to your song very mediocre, horrible flow and almost too annoying to listen to beat.

  • that dude is absolutely right it was corporate america and the fans who killed hip hop

  • annnnooooo\yiiingggg....... shut up.... what happpened 2 hip hop.

  • i only know one person from my school that knows rap that comes from the heart

  • Lot of rap is now about money, ho's, and drugs i mean what the fuck what happen to singing from the heart all these fucking stupid ass kids now of days that think is cool to act ignort and listing to heavy beats RAP IS NOT LIKE THIS. rap is from the heart and not what mainstream wants

  • true hip hop is not dead

  • I'm tellin ya, the Rec Execs are part of the illuminati....

  • @pong224

i agree, fuck the Rec Execs.. Ran by a bunch of fucking jews.

  • Lil wayne, drake, soulja boy, gucci mane fuck them all. They all are killing rap.Teenagers are dumb as fuck and rather listen to gucci mane than rakim.Every thing these days is about pussy, money, cars and weed.Thats it.Mainstream has turned into complete shit.I stopped listing to the radio because they dont play anything but bullshit. And i dont see it getting any better through the years if these kid keep thinking bullshit pop music is good and real shit is wack

  • lick a dick loooooool

  • who

  • This is soooo real hip hop aint been tyhe same since souja boy stupid crank that bullshit came out man i want the old music back big tymmers ,outkast, mannie fresh, nwa, dr. dre, mobb deep,ll cool j hip hop iswack now come on wtf is a stanky legg and who wants to be like ricky bobby what is the music industry comin 2

  • To be honest with you the computer killed hip hop. The downloading songs for free. Why go buy a record when you can get it for free. I started doing it because why go buy your album when you aint got but 3 or 4 good songs on that album. I'll just download those three or 4 songs and be good. Why spend 12 or 13 dollars on a piece of shit cd. Hip hop ain just bad in the south either it's bad all over. Everybody is putting out bullshit.

  • The blame lies squarely on the fans. We chose to listen 2 post Biggie, Puffy pop rap. We youtubed and ringtoned Soulja Boy. Fact is, if u don't buy sumthing, it doesn't sell. When "Corporate America" saw this, & how easy it was to market, then it became the standard.U have to really dig & look for the good hip hop. Cuz u sure as hell can't find it on MTV. Artists like One Be Lo, no one knows who they R cuz they aren't commercial enough for 13 yr olds to B playin in their ipods.

  • hiphop dead when pac dead ,everyone try to be pac or big. everone is satanic that why they no life in hiphop, was writen in bible all idols will be destoryed, everthing white man touch turn poison

  • djbigz u make a valid point man if we stop listenin and buyin the bs and buy the real ish then the game will be back 2 where it needs 2 be me personally dont listen 2 ppl like solja boy im a fan of lyricall content

  • when corporate america got a hold of hip hop they molded it into something they feel would make money and profit and it did they saw that speaking whats real, the every day problems that life brings not just for blacks but for anyone would not sell as much as flashy rings and chains and little dance steps but we as consumers can change that we wouldn't have solja boys or lil jons if we stopped listening to them because why it wouldn't make money and thus wouldn't get played

  • @djbigz187. You said it bro!

  • Y2K killed hiphop

when you get time subscribe to my channel & comment your favorite video,I'd appreciate it so much

  • ha, fuck joe budden, commercial hip hop isnt hip hop FAKE SHIT! NOTHING BUT PLACEBO! You dont see lables like strange and psychopathic struggling underground is why hip hop is alive not cus of white people you racist mother fucker hip hop is a baeutiful form of music a beautiful form of expression for the human race. "We all live under the sky have to live have to die its what we all got in common" Krizz kalico motherfucker

  • The Song is like Behold a Pale Horse with Hip Hop. This song is real

  • lil wayne: whats cool about him is that he freestyles most of his stuff which is cool, but the shit that comes out is just fuckin retarded. it makes me wonder whats goin on in that head of his

  • wayne sucks hes killing hip hop!!!!

artists now a days are way too hyped up!!

  • P diddy killed hip hop in 97 after biggie died. He turned the eastcoast hardcore rap movement into "pop-rap" and made it popular. talking about materialistic things and how much money theyv got. thats what started it and things progressed from there

  • true man, true!!

  • @mobbrollsdeep AMEN 2 DAT

  • @mobbrollsdeep this is true.... and all that whole big tymers thing

  • @mobbrollsdeep YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @mobbrollsdeep seriously, diddy was the first to do this in 97? you sound like an idiot... the corporation killed hip hop along with all you idiots that buy the trash albums they put out

  • @mobbrollsdeep I've been sayin that!!!!! Don't 4get when the south replaced the west coast as the counter culture 2 a then watered down N.Y. They made us obsolete with a dubmed down, more fun version of that jiggy era shit!!!

  • @mobbrollsdeep disagreed because biggie never rapper about material things like other rappers do now when he did it he was talking about how he came from having nothing to having something now we livin better now super nintendo sega genisus when i was dead broke man i couldnt picture this but now its the opposite its all about bragging i disagree with what you said but i agree at the same time because now its a big bragging thing idc have much money nebody has dosent mean shit

  • @mobbrollsdeep ya thats true

  • if we truly want to bring hip hop back, niggas need to stop sellin themselves out, and showing people that they can express how they feel about situations. AND PLEASE STOP USING THOSE CAT IN THE HAT RHYMES

  • yea like eminem

  • to be honest, in my opinion slick ricks song lodi dodi showed whut hip hop was truly about; verbally expressing your innerthoughts about the situations u are faced with. in that song slick rick showed us that rap wasnt about shootin this nigga cuz he got beef and all that shit thats being promoted nowdays. and dilla was a sure genious. and i gotta say this.. DRAKE WAS GOOD. his best album was definately comeback season, but then he signed with lil wayne and all respect went down the drain

  • LMFAO

  • I miss the old hip hop im tired of this stupid as auto tune and all that other bullshit being said and done and imma young dude i feel joe buddens to a certain point

  • Joe Budden and busta rhymers are so underrated

  • Busta is not overrated.

  • 07 was a really bad year for hip hop imo.

  • the Dj sounded like 1 of dem killa BH skits @ 1:21

  • Joe Budden is a whole new man to me after I listened to that shit.

  • For all the people who want the REAL, listen to the following artists. Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Immortal Technique, Ill Bill,The Pharcyde, Binary Star, Organized Konfusion, Canibus, Nas, Mobb Deep, Joe Budden, Gangstarr, Big L, just to name a few real tight artists out there who do not get any respect for their substance. Hiphop doesent have to be consionce, but you have to have substance, meaning.

  • answer = niggas from atl n new orleans n texas

  • fiddy cent

  • I blaime Souljah Boy

  • Don't blame the artists lol...blame the consumers like the ppl said in the vid...artists can make wack shit all day, but if we as listeners/consumers deny it...labels aren't going to be interested in it, therefore, the music doesn't get smashed in our ears from every audio source known to man

  • I blame women. They listen to the weakest rap. and then they go out and cop soulja boy albums so thats all we're hearing on the radio.

I aint NEVER heard a dude request 'kiss me through the phone.'

    real talk.

  • I have LOL!

  • Thats real

To many artists and guys glorify women these days.

  • the artists are responsible. nobody can make you write something. then the radio and record companies.

  • 3min3m

    the first white rapper

  • auto tune killed hip hop

  • i think hip hop died after bass patrol because back in the day everybody had them in the car with 2 15's

  • record companies who control what is heard and the customer's who buy this crappy music. money, greed, sex...there is no purpose and rap seems to no longer to be an art on the mainstream anymore. Everything sounds the same, there are few exceptions. It was an art form and political tool, now its a cash flow machine, and prostitute to corporate america

  • my son riped it

  • I blame all the wack niggaz, that became mainstream and people thinking that hip hop is good. 50 cent, Ja Rule, all tha t wack bullshit that arose in the late 90s, early millenium. Eminem was alright at one time, Jay Z and Nas were still doing there thing. Jedi Mind Tricks came out with a sick album in 98, Del was still releasing some good shit.

Hip Hop isn't dead, we just need the right doctors and nursery rhymers to cure it. thats all we need niggaz, stop with this bullshit.

  • eaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • this is so serious i think the ppl the wack rappers free music

  • i listen to hip hop from other countries especially europe dam its sik man

  • Joey is ill.

  • Underground hip hop is not dead. Its alive and well but mainstream seemed to start dying as far back as the mid 90s. It happened so gradually and slowly no one noticed. Thats when every nigga in the industry wanted to be a gangsta rapper. What made it worse was what I call the "flossing" era where every rapper had to talk about how much money they have. What made the downward slope really noticeable was the crunk era. Crunk opened the door for this shit we have now.

  • biggie was nice, hes not that special. hes over rated and so is 2pac. 2 pac wasent even that good. there are so many better rappers out there. but biggie was nice dont get me wrong. fuck 2 pac 2 pac's fuckin whack.

  • Hes def overated. Hes not whack at all tho. I respect your opinion tho.

  • word man. idk i dont like 2pacs flow at all. neither his beats or his lyrics

  • true pac is overrated

  • i agree..

both of em are overrated but they're both really good

  • Its so stupid when people say that "HIP HOP DIED WITH 2PAC AND BIGGIE!" What about Black Star, they came out after them, Wu-Tang was still going. Tech N9ne will destroy any rapper alive or dead. People say that the south killed hip hop, well you only seeing the mainstream thats coming outta the south, there are underground cats who write their hearts out, so just think about it the musi industry is dead but hip hop is alive and well

  • tech nine destory every rapper dead or alive?? your serious????????? are kidding, Big l,wu-tang, royce da 5'9, canibus, immortal teq, nas, jay-z, cassidy, mos def, joe budden, mobb deep, just to name a FEW, who will end that man's career, dont get me wrong, hes cool, but dont over-rate please!!

  • Esham too. He's the shittttttt

  • where is he from (please say New york lol) and name some songs of his

  • He's from Detroit but he inspired the music known to the world as "Acid rap" haha. Some of my favorite songs from him are American Psycho, Look at me (With Twiztid) and Why You gotta lie (Which is him and some other dude in a group called NaTaS)

  • @clevelandbrowns303 Tech n9ne is good tho and complex with his bars

  • Hip Hop past away in 1999,That shitty ass club music aint hip hop, Ever since tupac and biggie got killed real Hip Hop started to die out.

  • u look desperate ..HOW BOUT DAT NIGGA

u girl got a bigger buzz... HOW BOUT DAT NIGGA

U THE WEAKEST IN SLAUGHTERHOUSE.. HOW BOUT DAT NIGGA

UR ALBUM IS TOO EXPENSIVE FOR A COASTER ..HOW BOUT DAT NIGGAH

the screen went black after that blackout 2 may19 ...

  • Fuck Slaughterhouse??

    Are you serious?

    4 lyrical beasts..

  • Come check my raps out!

  • soulja boy but he didnt do it individualy.....da downfall of hip -hop began like in 04' i remember they would always fuckin play RIGHT THURR

  • exactly I hate how ppl hate on that kid cuz he makes money off stupid ppl have noticed every dumb song the artist has on his brand in their videos

  • no artist killed hip-hop or rap, it was the mager record labels that killed it, why? because the record labals are contraled but the goverment, and the goverment what to keep most people as dumb as posible

  • just boycott the labels......then we as the people can fund our own music.....its probably happening already.....i dont plan on BET helping out.....they are going to help kill it,instead of growing balls...peace not wangsta...

  • Please read this because it acually works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1.Put both of your hands on your chest

    2.Think of someone thatyou like......

3.Tommorow that person will ask you out or say i love you.

4.Heres the catch just send to 5 more videos Please read this because it acually works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1.Put both of your hands on your chest

    2.Think of someone thatyou like......

3.Tommorow that person will ask you out or say i love you.

4.Heres the catch just send to 5 more videos

  • soulja boy did it

  • how you say hip-hop is dead when wu-tang is forever

  • and Bone Thugz N Harmony

  • and nas

  • If Wu-Tang, Bone and Nas were as big now as their were back in the day, Hip Hop would be more alive. But today Wayne would outsell all 3 put together. If that ain't dead, it's definitely sick.

  • Eminem - Relapse - Coming soon

  • i dont think hip hop is dead, just cuz underground hip hop is still there, just low key ya kno. ... and yea, corporate america and fans did kill the reputation of hip hop. fuck mainstream

  • Man the mainstream in the 90s was waaaaayyy better than todays mainstream HH. That doesnt justify anything.

  • yea, i get you. it was better. well to make myself clear, fuck todays mainstream hip hop. haha

  • Haha, I agree.

Yeah, the good stuff now pretty much stays underground. I mostly listen to rock now when it comes to mainstream radio. Peace.

  • damb, just heard the freestyle!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • i totally agree about what dude said about lil jon. soon as that fool came out hip hop was through. music is supposed to be inspiration, not a damn beat that get everybody all hyped ready to kill each other teens getting pregnant disrespected kids dropping outta school cuz they wanna sell drugs, that garbage is poisoning peoples' minds. im more of an R&B fan but thats even changed. Lauryn Hill, The Fugees, that was some music that make a person think about some things. wake up people

  • who killed hip hop?

  • ur mom

  • i love that this white boy is the fore front of hip hop, thats why hip hop is dead.

  • thats true.....someone has to do something about hiphop....Nas Jay Em Rakim...they should do something...cuz if this goes on ...hiphop gonna realy die !!! budden and royce da 5'9 goat !!!!

  • look i feel hip hop isnt dead and people who feel its dead iz buggin hip hop iz like life its forever changin so you can blame whoever but dont get mad at how a person does there thing yea dont hate the rapper dont blame it on the beef becuz beef/ battles i feel thats when a lyrists is at his or best

face it mainstream is mainstream and underground is undeground

when you sign that deal you gotta do stuff you dont wanna anyhow if you love hip hop take it as is for better or for worse

  • 5-0snitch KILLD HIPHOP

  • I think it is corporate america's fault. Radio stations channel and filter what most people can hear.. How are the fans/ people going to hear the true/ good hip hop? Most people do not want to, or do not know how to find quality music. They want easy access. The radio is. Its sad but true. Most people these days think that good hip hop is on the radio, and since Corporate record labels own the radio stations, they can now control on what is hot and what is not... Its up to us to stop this.

  • Joe Budden spoke nothin but the truth, thats the deepest song in hip hop these days.

BTW: 2:33, I like the way he said YA DUMMY!

  • Hip hop is not dead but it is on life support...

He put together all the important events that made hip hop what it is today.....Big L, Pac, Big, Freaky Tah, Pun those deaths are serious.....in my opinion the moment died in 2000.....Thats when in my opinion hip hop became garbage...no one cared about lyrics there is no one that will take Nas into a studio and make him admit to having to rewrite his verse like Pun did.....it just sux and there is good hip hop it just will not make it nationally

  • Hip hop isn't dead. ITs not mainstream, but it is underground.

I mean Immortal Technique, Tech N9ne, Jedi Mind Tricks, and tons of others doing their thang underground, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, all these artist doing their thang, and staying lyrical. Yeah they wont sell million of records, but immortal tech hit on the head.

"if you sell a million records it has nothing to do with luck. IT just means a million people are stupid as fuck"

  • All im sayin is there's HIP HOP and there's rap.

  • Thank You,I totally agree. And lately all that has been coming out is just rap. I have song on my itunes broken up between hip hop and some are rap and it isnt by artist either.I got some of jay's song as rap and some as hip."Hip Hop is something you live and Rap is something you do", I feel rap is just a bunch of noise lately and not ever artistic anymore. Hip-Hop began to die when pac and big did, it got real dysfunctional and I don't think it is ever gonna come back. R.I.P & Flowers On Grave

  • funny guy..line470
