It was a fun fight to watch, but obviously Fernando wasn't in very good shape. His lack of conditioning is what cost him. He should have won the last two rounds, he had the momentum, but he had no more gas in the tank. The kid fought too many hard wars at a young age.

I felt this fight was a blow out win for Mayorga. I've seen ten Vargas fights and to me, this was by far his worst performance. He looked like a different man than the dude who beat Ike Quartey and Ross Thompson.
