This seems like a way out there proposition. I would be leery of anyone running for office that has so poorly thought out plans he brings to the public. Part of being Mayor is knowing what and when to bring things to the public forum. This guy is obviously just not qualified yet.  What is his background?

All things considered, I respect Falconer more for admitting the program was hugely flawed.

I prefer a leader who understands how to brainstorm, has the bravery to propose solutions, takes the opinions of others into consideration, & upon finding his ideas to be lacking, is willing to admit fault and remove said idea.

I absolutely concede that I'd prefer a leader who understands the principles of Liberty as thoroughly, even more thoroughly than I do.

That said, what I mean to stress here is that I can appreciate that the only candidate for Orange County mayor who even comes close to my ideals is still learning. Not only is Falconer learning, he's learning fast & I appreciate that he took the logic of those around him, those further along in their understanding of Liberty, into consideration on this issue.

I'd be curious to see how a call is handled that comes from one of the "youth brigade".

The 4th amendment is still in place to an extent so it requires an oath/affirmation by an individual as well as a precise determination of what is to be searched.

Some kid on a bike telling a cop he "saw" something and said cop acting on it seems a great way for said cop to get shot...at least if he attempted to bust into my home without a search warrant that passes 4th amendment muster.
