@crazychickz1011 this is NOT Panthers... this was Jags! We decided to compete senior at one of the regional competitions and happen to get a bid to worlds so we went for it!! :) So YES this was actually a JUNIOR team.. it was JAGS.

We have 11 year olds that are REALLY small on our team & i PERSONALLY think its harder to base with smaller flyers.

1) their foot is WAY smaller so you and the other base have to overlapp a lot just to hold onto there tiny foot

2) most of the time there loose!

3) and because there so small you have to catch a lot gentler and watch wat you do because anything could hurt them.

@McNastySEU I can answer that for some of them... at least the flyers. Only one of the five flyers has graduated and will be cheering at Texas Tech next year. Two of the flyers are now CA Wildcat flyers, one of the flyers is on CA Cheetahs this year and I believe the flyer that does the full up in the center (Olivia) is taking her senior year off.

in 2006, there was no age limit...

this is originally a small JR. team, but there was no JR. division at worlds that year, therefore, they went senior because there is not age limit!

1:27, what does the bases do during the 360 twist, is it a one legged stunt or do bases have both feet? Id like to try this, im a flyer

well the main base has one foot and is holding is twisted..its hard to explain..then the other base holds the other foot how you normally would going into a half or whatever then you throw her up and the side base lets go of the foot while the main twists it to normal and still holds on and the side cathces under the foot in a one-legged post...so you end up with the main and side base holding how they normally would in a reg. post....hope that explains...haha it was longg...and confusinggg

There was no minimum age in 2006.  Also, this was actually their junior team. They didn't have a junior division then, so they just competed in Senior.

Ooooo, so that's what they mean by "small senior". Back in my day "Small Senior" meant a team of less than 20, not small as in little people, lol. Damn all these categories and divisions! Confusion abound.

yeah, the age grid might have been different back in 2006, it was probably 11, and they might be 11.

They can be younger and be on this team. Back in 2006, if they didn't have a junior advanced team, those two girls were allowed to be on the senior advanced team. I can't remember the exact rule, but we had a similar situation when coached back then. It's totally legit though.
