@YouHaveMetYourMaker Zeus passed away at 9.5 years of age in January.His main diets was superworms, mixed greens, blueberries and an occasional pinkie. He ate some other things, but blueberries were his favorite food. My wife and I just adopted a rescue dog.

The last few inches of his tail turned stiff and black and eventually broke off this year. He is getting old. He's 9 years old now.

my bearded dragons name is yoshi. he is like 4 months old and i have never seen him eat his veggies. i feed him romaine lettuce and sometimes i will experiment with other things like celery leaves, and cucumber peelings and thins like that. i know he eats some of it because there is always less there the next day. but he doesn't eat much. and i have never seen him eat it.

I have never fed my beardie anything that was processed like pellets. Superworms, greens like arugula and spinach, blueberries and the occasional pinkie mouse is his main diet. I give him other things to try and he might eat a bite, but not a second bite. He would eat blueberries until he burst if I let him.

I have looked after beardies for nearly 15 years, i have got a new beardie just 6 weeks old and mine craves salad, feed it to them from a young age and they should thrive on it ... thats what happenede to mine. Also my first beardie was just fed on crickets and the occassional pinkie... not a good idea, they should have some sort of fresh vegetables in their diet. Another suggestion is apple this is my beardies fav food.. Named him Zeus :)

Just noticed your comment here. Dunno if you got the problem solved or not.

Sounds like she isn't quite socialized enough. Maybe try spending more time with her? Get her out and carry her around the house--especially while you're preparing her food. You want her to realize you're not a threat n that good things (like food) come when you're around.

If she gapes at you, maybe try throwing something yummy like some greens in her mouth. The surprised look on her face will be priceless! =)

Zeus is my buddy alright. He just turned 7 years old and is healthy and happy. He lives alone in a 25 gallon tank. I have considered getting an adult female to keep him company.

Zeus has always loved baby greens like arugula. He does not like chard though. His favorite foods are blueberries and superworms, but he likes salad as well. I tried to get him into sweet potatoes and pumpkin, but he did not go for it. He used to eat some corn, but not too mcuh these days. He'll eat just about any insect of significant size that I find as well.

i have a 3 month old bearded dragon, i cant wait untill hes that big! he isnt growing that much tho coz hes got metabolic bone disease and he broke his back, but hes heaps better now, hes back is just about healed up and hes nearly recovered :)
