Beautiful song, but only confirms my -- rather unfashionable -- view that, most of the time the studio version of a song is far superior to any live performance. There are a few notable exceptions (Freebird, Beautiful Loser, Katmandu (Bob Seeger), about anything by the late Harry Chapin. But as a rule, studio is superior.
