In fact, I'm recalling the passage that was read by the great actor Richard Burton who performed the voice of the narrator during the musical pause of this song. I haven't heard this song in decades...

I remember in about the mid-70's an album came out entitled

"War of the Worlds", and this song was the Lead Song. I think this song was created for that LP. Each song, and the story inside the Album was about the invasion of Earth by Martians and how two lovers get separated, just like in the movie.

Anyway, this song is Beautiful and Enchanting.

Sorry for the confusion, I was addressing the War of the World production...did not get wide distribution back in the day.

Moodies will be in my area in the Summer at the Mountain Winery in NorCal. Hope to see them there as I did a couple of years ago. Always a fan, I first saw them in 1970..been a fan ever since.
