  • It's forever Autumn in my heart....but this is a stunning video and song

  • If this song doesn't stop you in your tracks get to the Dr quick ! You may not have a heart !

  • "A gental rain falls softly on my weary eyes, as if to hide a lonely tear." That's poetry.

  • im 17 and this song i love it so tuching and no am not gay or a fag its true music like pink floyd so class

  • @x94MuRpHy94x You shouldn't think of people thinking you're gay over listening to 'old' music. Everyone has their own music tastes, it's just some people overlook true music.

  • One of my very close friends dad died in march and they played this beautiful song at the end of the funeral....and even tho it wasn't my dad, I was in pieces. It was just the perfect song

  • was it mamas and papas who also did this song

  • awww rip comment:))

  • Who would have ever guessed that this beautiful song is actually on a two-CD set of Jeff Wayne's musical version of H. G. Wells' "The War of the Worlds"?! In fact, I'm recalling the passage that was read by the great actor Richard Burton who performed the voice of the narrator during the musical pause of this song. "...Fire suddenly lit from house to house. The population panicked and ran. And I was swept along with them, aimless and lost without Carrie. (Part 1)

  • I love this song, it's so calming. Nice combination of photos too :-)

  • its no surprise this tune has no dislikes. classic justin.

  • beautiful pitcures, did you takr them?

  • My heart has been very Lonley lately...

  • A beautiful song, and beautifully presented by freedomannie. Fantastic photos.

  • if anyone's interested...here's the remix -> /watch?v=VrrQ7nQu9zo

  • Just so everyone knows, this is NOT The Moody Blues. This is Justin Hayward with Jeff Wayne. This song came out when the Moodies were split up.

  • @darecop5270 some other duo did this first there was sheet music with their picture

  • There coming There Coming! The martians are coming!

  • I miss you so much Linda

  • I found my true love after 36 years. We reconnected, but he got a case of the "guilts" and went back to his wife. I wrote him a poem and referred to this song. Maybe someday, he will realize, as he called me "his real true love" that he had never forgotten, could have been to him. I will forever love him in my heart, mind and soul.

  • The Album this is from "War of The Worlds" Words read by Richard Burton, Music by the Moody Blues, is just sooo awesome too. If you've never heard it, you owe it to yourself to get it and listen to it. Totally Good entertainment and songs you will sing to yourself for years. This is the best song on the album, this and "Farewell Thunder Child", imho. Thanks for putting this up, Good job!!!

  • what a fantastic job you have done on this video. everything seems to fit so beautifully! very emotional song........and what beautiful memories it stirs!!!!

  • My Dad's Favourite Band. Miss You Dad. R.I.P 1947- 2010

  • Wonderful! Lovely!!

  • This song is a constant reminder of my highschool sweetheart. We dated for 7 years. It's been 4 years now since she broke up with me for the man she is now happily engaged to. I pass her on occasion on my route to work. It's ironic how complete lovers can become complete strangers overnight. There isn't a single day that passes where she isn't on my mind. I miss her so damn much. I hope brighter days are ahead for me and any other hearts out there wondering if love has passed them b

  • where did you get the picture of the bench and sunset

  • Damn, great video.

  • Saw Hayward perform this in Germany, FANTASTIC

  • this song is profound, and the proof is in the comments of people who were moved enough by it to share their difficult personal experiences here... I wonder how many modern pop hits could have that effect.

  • ~WOW~

    I haven't heard this song in decades...

    I remember in about the mid-70's an album came out entitled

    "War of the Worlds", and this song was the Lead Song. I think this song was created for that LP. Each song, and the story inside the Album was about the invasion of Earth by Martians and how two lovers get separated, just like in the movie.

    Anyway, this song is Beautiful and Enchanting.

    ~~~Well Done M'Lady~~~
  • Thanks for rating and your kind words!
  • From War of the Worlds sound track...not the Cruise vehicle...a small british production I think...Justin sings like an angel.
  • Small production?
    This will be the biggest show ever!
    In June and July on tour live on Stage with Justin Hayward and other artists!
  • Sorry for the confusion, I was addressing the War of the World production...did not get wide distribution back in the day.
    Moodies will be in my area in the Summer at the Mountain Winery in NorCal. Hope to see them there as I did a couple of years ago. Always a fan, I first saw them in 1970..been a fan ever since.
  • i have never had the honor of seeing them live but really would love to...maybe they will come to Florida!
  • That will be fantastic! I so love their music! I never get tired of hearing it which is almost daily!
  • Thanks..they are certainly one of my most favorite bands of all time...like a little time capsule!
  • Oh man!! This really takes me back.
    i love it!!
    thanks annie
  • Relax from all the stress of our daily grind...sit back and just remember , just appreciate what we have in life...Then get a second wind and go at it again!
