  • Really fabulous, Justin is such a stand up guy. Great to see his wife also.

  • They played The Moody Blues in space? why isn't this on Wikipedia? That's awesome!!!

  • My husband and I saw them last May at the Nokia Theater in LA. Center - sixth row. OMG what a great show. Justin and John brought it like no time has passed. The vocals were dead on and the energy was fabulous. We had gone south for a Disneyland trip, and though that was fun, the highlight of that trip was seeing the Moody Blues in concert.

  • Super program! I used to listen to their records in a recliner w/the lights out. Great music for flying! Stumbled across your videos and is an incredible program. Thanks for posting. TV show hasn't been in the U.S. for years. Justin is a great artist and very deserving.

  • Today, October 14th is Mr. Hayward's birthday. :)

  • I remember hearing about their music being played for and by the astronauts. Immediately thought, "That's exactly the best choice of music to play in space!"

  • I never knew he was on there. Thanks

  • @cloudjia Couldn't have said it better. And I would add a quality that is very hard to come by these days, which is humility.

  • Thanks for posting this. Justin is so cool. I got to say hi to him once, after a concert in 1995. BTW, I think Doremi is built like her dad, but looks more like her mom.

  • Thank-You so much for posting; stumbled across this by accident. Love the MB; and Justin's music is classic.

  • Cool. Bruce Welch is in the public.

  • Just watched all of the Justin This is Your Life Vids that you posted, thank you SO MUCH for putting them up. What a treat, this is something I would never have gotten to see otherwise. So generous of you to share, much appreciated!

  • A well deserved honor...couldn't happen to a nicer guy!!!!

  • Thanks for this - I've never seen it (-: It made my night. I used to sing Nights In White Satin in South Wales by the seaside in the early 70s.

  • That is something nice to hear; despite being famous and on the road a lot, he has remained faithful to the same woman he married, and made time to spend with his daughter. A lesson that many should learn today; being faithful.

I was a big moodies fan during the 80's, and still enjoy them from time to time, but only watching this now did I know anything about Justin's character. I saw them at the Manchester Apollo when Sur la Mer came out (forgot the year), great gig!

  • Justin Hayward is a class act!

  • Having met the man in the late 60's just before the explosion of fame

he always came across as a very talented guy but most of all modest and quiet

over a few beers after he sat and strummed away for us some of the upcoming songs from days of future. this blew us all away

To Justin always knew you would be a star will be back to see you when your around ......... Nigel

  • Thank you so much for making it possible to see this. I fell in love with his music in the mid 70's, saw them live in my teens & only again at the O2 now in my 40's. I should never have forgotten how wonderful his music is. Justin's voice is as strong & heartmelting as ever!!. He's a very special person.

  • tarbuck what a cunt and a liar. pervert that he is

  • Lovely to see him in this. When was this produced?

  • I could swear that's Michael Batt at 4 seconds in. Interesting. Great musician, Justin.

  • @vampyros1 It is, he is mentioned at the start of the show.

  • @ProcolHarum1967 Ah, thanks.

  • As a lifelong Moodie's fan ..I thank you.

Now.......I'm off to dig out Day's of Future Passed

  • Very enjoyable series of videos!! Thank God for the Internet!

  • How come the "guy next door" is NEVER like THIS?

  • Is his daughters name Do Re Mi or Dorame.. just Curious. Is it coincidental?

Maybe I'll name my child Fasollatido...lol It is kinda cool...!

  • Justin Hayward is so hot back then and no one knew, there was no MTV or youtube back then, so there was no way of knowing this guy was so cute, they would have been MUCH bigger then they were if there were MTV !!! His daughter is gorgeous too! He should have had tons of kids! ha! Not to mention he is sooo nice too!

  • What a wonderful tribute to a truly talented singer, songwriter, and guitarist! AND a wonderful person.

    Love, Jusfriend

  • How come Mike Pinder didn't show?

  • Thank you so much, Scottishrose, for posting this wonderful program. It was a joy to see Justin's family members and old friends sharing in the happiness and harmony that have been his gift to the world.

  • Thank's Rose for posting this, I wish I had of been older when the band got together.

    Who is Justin married too?

  • The man with the golf clubs is Jimmy Tarbuck, a scouse comedian who refers to himself as The Thief of Badgags.

  • What a wonderful show for a remarkable human being. As a David, I was overjoyed to find out that Justin's first name was David.

I wish him, John, Grame, and Ray all the best, for decades of inspirational and epic music. Please come back to Charlotte!

  • Thankyou Rose ..

I have always admired Justin right from the early days .. but i have never seen this until now ..

    Once again .. thankyou:)

  • I'm glad you like it.

  • Justin Hayward has written some of the most beautiful songs of the 20th century! Thanks for the video!

  • Justin Hayward is one of the most down to earth and humble people in the music industry, not to meniton the fact he has one of the best voices.

  • Thanks for putting this up. This level of talent is just not seen in today's music business.

  • Thank you! Thank you! I had never seen this in its entirety before.

  • This was just great, fantastic, awesome, stupendous, etc. Only question---what year was this broadcasted? Thanks again.
