Well now even though they are getting older they sill say him alot which confuses the Adoption agency so they correct it but they all feel confortable call me Pappi or Dad and that is what I Love.
we have also 3 younger kids 6-8 which we are still in the midst of adoption process they were very confused at first because they were very young and they called me pappi they see a man and thats it, but my Ex-felt that it would cause confusion not to correct them because of the process we were going through.
My oldest is 25 and youngest is 14. I talked to my kids on an ongoing basis. Now I'm a Papa and I'll tell him when he is able to understand. The most important thing to share is that I love them. Trans is a word that can be debated, how I treat my kids is an action. The most important thing a transgendered parent can realize is that they are NOT the only ones going through a transition
@RockWolfBlade i totally agree with you my partner is going though the transistion of FTM. and we just told our 24 year old daughter and she is not taking very well. my wife is even thinking about not going though her transition. do you have any advice

I would tell my child(ren), but when they are like, 16-18 years of age. It's all about honesty with your child and acceptance.

I agree! We must give kids the benefit of the doubt. Children should be apart of their parents live and basically educated. They are the future.
