man for that think you can copy directly from the dvd, but if you want to convert a dvd in to a avi movie it will take more than 20minutes.

Much harder to put on a DVD than the pc. Some software will cut out scenes. It takes a ripper that decrypts. DVD you need almost a 10GB one these days. The free programs I found so far are the old one's that don't work with todays file sizes.

It won't work with every dvd and most of the new ones that are coming out it won't work on. anyone got a program that even if it takes a while can decrypt and copy dvds, only reply if it will do every dvd.

use clonedvd, you can remove the govt warnings, fbi warnings, trailers etc while ripping to increase the bitrate of the video making it visually better.
