@Cherubaby He claims that he left the church for doctrinal reasons, ie. (Catholic church's teachings go against the Bible). When I'm sure that he left for political reasons rather than doctrinal reasons. He probably fell in love with a woman and knowing that as a priest, he couldn't pursue it or he felt that being a Protestant is more convienient and relaxed for him than being a Catholic. And he uses the "Catholic church goes against Scripture" for one of his excuses to slander it.

@Cherubaby If you read in the video description box it says that Bennett exposes the "Catholic" teaching that soulds are only spiritually "wounded" from sin and not spiritually dead. THAT IS A LIE!!! We believe that all souls come into this world deprived of grace and inherit the punishment bestowed upon Adam and Eve (Catechism 57). See, he's lying about the church and slandering it and people take into consideration that eh was once a priest and therefore, "everyhting he says is true!"

This video is excellent. The issue is justification by faith alone. Those who deny it, deny the biblical gospel. In the Reformed community, the Reformed Church in the United States, Orthodox Presbyterian Church, Reformed Presbyterian church, and the Canadian Reformed churches (these I know of) are holding fast this essential doctrine while denouncing the Federal Vision, and the mysticism that is permeating evangelicalism.

I think that evangelicals got together with Catholics because they decided that arguing against Catholic teaching does not make money. Nowadays evangelicals are all about using corporate methods to draw crowds into their churches with the hope of gettting their 10%.

Then again. . . this should be of no surprise considering that many evangelical churches WERE about the money for a long time and this is just another trick in their bag.

He exposes Catholicism for what it really is, we need to use his material on our friends and family that are Catholic and we need to get them saved." @RPenta The language is rhythmic, not a bit "stilted" It just takes getting used to. The rhythms and the concrete language make memorization almost effortless. But for study, I use a combination of translations.

Dimlylit mirror, As your name would seem to indicate, you are in need of more light as to what the church of Rome teaches about original sin. They reject the doctrine of man's total depravity. Instead teaching that man decides his own destiny. Look it up in Vatican II GAUDIUM ET SPES Section 14 if you dare. Richard Bennett is right. It clearly teaches that man is only wounded by sin, not the biblical and hence true teaching that men are dead in their tresspasses and sins. Ephesians 2:1

Within my heart I feel that the churches that the catholic church has establised are true houses of worship, I believe that graven images such as statues are not graven when used to show people the power of Jesus Christ. Overall, I ask the question.. that would not Jesus hold the ledger which holds the names of the true christians. I know you believe that suffering and works are not needed.. but doesnt it say in the bible that we must imitate Christ. Overall isnt it possible that if I removed himself from the sins and worship extravaganzas that I see some people go through, that I might be saved? You got it wrong again. Anglicanism has nothing to do with Evangelicals. The only, if even thing; they have in common is being Protestnat churches. But believe me, I got a lot of Anglican friends. that, they take to OFFENSE any try to paut Anglican and Evangelical, like the same thing. Actually the term SECT,that was applied for the first time, it was created by Anglican Protestants, not Roman Catholics
