I would say that Paganini is not the best composer for Grumiaux: the 'temperature' of romantic emotion expressed by Grumiaux is not that as it should be for Paganini (to my opinion). But Grumiaux has so brilliant, so elegant, so clear and exciting style that I would rate even this record as the one of the best in the history of violin.
