  • cool, blessings...

  • fascinating musician.

  • Interesting. Just read Daevid's description of 14 Hour Technicolor Dream show:

"The Soft Machine took the stage. Daevid Allen said, 'I had found a miner's helmet with a lamp set above the brow. The stages were set at opposite end of the cavernous venue facing each other, and more often than not two bands were playing at once. We only heard the band opposite us when we stopped, so it was supportable...just. After we had finished I wandered about amongst the huge crowd.

  • @VegaVelecka ' t. I was drawn to the far stage where, unopposed by a simultaneous band, a group of slightly embarrassed musicians played symphonic slide guitar under the camouflage of vividly hypnotic light projections. From the edge of the stage I watched, fascinated, as a young guy with mad staring eyes stroked his guitar with metal objects. The music thus created was almost Wagnerian in its emotional power. It welled up, expanding through the swirl of liquid light....'

  • Wow! Much better than the album version, though either way, a wonderful song :)

  • Who needs Bob Dylan. "If there's love in your heart then for fuck sake please show it". Classic.

  • Just luuuuvvvv this song!!!! Adictive as ....

  • ok admit am BBC publicist but BBC South East Today's series on prog and it starting in Canterbury has a new interview with Daevid Allen

  • Daevid was an original in Soft Machine too. There are a couple of acoustic & synth LPs his band Euterpe made that are very nice. Pre Kramer post Gong. Sort of Flamenco meets Gong.

  • It's called 'Quit Yr Bullshit', originally on Daevid's album with Mark Kramer entitled 'Who's Afraid'

  • Word. THANKS.

  • what is the name of this song?

  • Sorry I am unsure. But it's rad, right?!!

  • Ah yes, Zero 2. I saw them in Seattle a while back. It was a low key tour-de-force. At 70, Daevid Allen is still a treasure.

  • Such a great video! Thanks for posting, that was one of my favorite songs of the night. What a fantastic show... Can't wait for Gong to come out this way!

  • NICE.

  • Wow cool song!

( Into the Gong playlist in my channel>>>
