Pretty good showing for a dorm room production. Though, there are some continuity issues. Dexter would have been going to college in the mid 90's. They didn't have Red Bull, or Macbook Pro's, or Facebook back then. Secondly, this is too much like Dexter in his final form, as we see him at series inception. Any story about his college years should focus on his stumbling blocks. Third, Facebook sleuthing a class cheat doesn't seem like something Dexter would concern himself with.

kinda cool but mitsuka didn't go to the same college as dexter, dexter met him at work not school. good mitsuka laugh though. also i think it would be more getting to know himself and what people act like around him, like developing his skill. he wouldn't take someone for cheating or muscling in on a test, he doesn't care about people, just his need to kill, his code isn't a moral guideline its rules how to get away with murder an live a normal life, he wouldn't kill someone in his own class...

We can forgive the fact that Dexter met Vince years later on the lab job and that the animated series Dexter: The Early Cuts establish him at college in Florida. Your show didn't have to say he is in San Francisco; Dexter is now mostly shot in California pretending to be Miami.

You really should consider the practicality of Facebook for serial killers.

People update their likes and dislikes, you can easily find out what kind of people they are, they openly plan events, and for somebody like Dexter pretending to have interest in people would be simple.

But hey, that's what artistic license is all about and whoever made this did an awesome job. The guy definitely looks like Dexter, the acting is great and the way it is produced (especially the intro) is almost as professional as the actual TV show (which certainly was running on a much higher budget, than these college kids) . So kudos, guys.
