when i went to Korea with my father the men were so kind to all the women. My friends expected them to hate me because i was a foreigner, but my gosh they were really sweet. also it probably helped because i'm asian and my dad could talk with them!

i am a teacher in korea. this video doesnt even get into the core of korean dating, it seems it just displays the bitterness you have. Though, some of the things are true, they are irrelevent to korean dating; and you try to connect them to korean dating. Dating in Korea is much more complex than what you say in your video. @TheRivalConcept I see, I find it a good thing that you and your korean husband get along because I have read horror stories involving asian mother in laws. Some have this son-daughter complex where they can't let go of their kid and always think the wife/husband is not good enough to their kid etc. Not saying its like that all the time but I have read it can get like that...As for the "when in rome", it is pretty much impossible to change your roots entirely but one should try depending.

Because the mother-in-law still has the expectations of how her daughter-in-law should be, & will not adjust it just because she's living in a diff country/culture, many times. I can understand it being gross to go to these motels and dvd bangs but you have to understand, it is a huge taboo over there still to have sex before marriage, so if they aren't ur potential future wife/husband, your parents won't even welcome them into the house. I am korean and this happens with my significant other. It seems many Asian American chicks who are hooked up with white boys have less Asian pride and insecurities. They try too hard to fit in to the mainstream America by degrading their own people. pathetic really.
I've dated FAR more white chicks then Asian girls but I would never generalize.

I want a Korean bff too! But, where I live they are a rarity. My five years living in a fairly large city in the Southwest US and I've only ever met one Korean guy. Yeah, kinda sad...met at the airport and could only talk for 20 mins. Lovely guy.

Some do and some don't just like any other race. It comes all down to individuals. I've dated few latinas myself. Ive been to South America and there are plenty of these couples. You're in LA and you have never seen this kind of coupling?? Hard to believe.
