EVGA GTX 580 Classified - Water Cooling

That red light on the back of the card showing Extreme OC Mode should be glowing green and not red. You need the latest firmware update to use the OC mode. And the firmware only allows you to increase the cards voltages. I used the normal mode and was able to overclock my two Classified Hydro Coppers to a stable 1.2 ghz with my Koolance ERM-3K3U.

You cannot get anywhere near 1.6 GHz without Liquid Nitrogen cooling, and that is akin to driving a top fuel funny car to work each day. Still, an extremely nice card in air and water-cooled form for those that live in reality. Looks like EVGA has another winner.
