  • Lol Pigeon Propaganda

  • I nursed an ill pigeon back to health and let him go a few days ago. He was ill with Newcastle disease. People around me, whose heads are filled with stereotypes, thought me stupid, because I will get some lethal disease from it, they said that the pigeon will die anyway etc. etc. How easily people think of justifications just not to be kind.

  • we don't kill pigeons in my countery , we love them

  • Where i live pigeons aren't a problem because the seagulls decide how much they get to eat :D

  • I am Not a fan of pigeons at all. Theyre are a pain for me with their nasty droppings on my window cills and their loud noises in the morning. I don't advocate hurting them but I would like to see cities start handing out birth control feed for them. Less is better!

  • @dcbornmike This world is not made just for us humans. Birds can go where every they wish and can do what they wish, even on your windows. Have a nice day.

  • they is proof that pigeons are not like rats the are intelligent beings an adult pigeon have the equivalent intelligence of a five year old

  • I love pigeons, my Xbox Live gamertag is about pigeons!

  • Seeing the videos of those beautiful birds struggling, walking in circles almost made me want to cry. Why does earth have to be full of so much hatred and violence? Why can't earth and it's inhabitance just get along? Maybe one day humans will realize, at least I hope so..

  • pigeons are only frendly birds what live along pepole why are pepole being evil to them ?

  • Pigeons are not only birds of peace, but they are also good luck charms in many cultures!

Here in Hawaii, you'll see many older folks feeding pigeons. For some of them, the reason is "good luck".

I know of a Chinese woman, who regularly feeds these birds . She claims that she does so well in Las Vegas, because of it.

  • god, it hurt to watch the footage of the poisoned birds...i rescued a mangled homing pigeon from a parking lot over a year ago, and i now have six pigeons living in my house. they are wonderful, intelligent little souls. and i have no idea why people are so intensely opposed to pigeons. responsible rescuers and caretakers all remove the eggs prior to them being incubated and replace them with fake eggs, there should be no breeding until there are no more that need homes! :>

  • the lady next door to me put rat poison down which killed all of the robins, starlings, cats, squirells, pigions, rats and even one of her flatmates dogs. we found dead bodies of animals in our back garden for weeks, and witnessed the slow and painful death of many of those unfortunate creatures. the lady next door was hated by everyone, especially the people who's cats she killed. she died a few weeks after she did this, and we watched the ambulance take her body with a smile:)

  • This is certainly good, but I wish they wouldn't take away their eggs. I hope they hatch and release them elsewhere...not just destroy them...they're only fetuses at that point.

  • @Razzlewolfflight - I doubt it. I would guess they boil them(This ensures they don't hatch.), then return them to the female until she lays a new batch so she doesn't get upset.

  • the idea of 24 hours pigeon's public loft which was done in rotterdam holand is excelent i hope more countries in the world will follow the idea for pigeon population control in a human way you can see the video clip of public pigeon loft in youtube for yourself and official anouncement of dutch government it was designed to be on the roof of building such as store etc.

  • Pigeons are symbol of love and peace... why they are killing the love and peace? only evil can do that... Birds also have souls we are only 1 of them living and sharing in the same world.. only God have the rights to get back the life he made..

think of it before you sleep..

Here in the Philippines we treat pigeons as God messenger of love and peace..

We love pigeons here.. and never came to our mind to hurt them..

  • poor birds :( I love them!

  • Pigeons help to smooth from the crumpled countenance the lines of care; they lead our minds away from the fretful realm of strife; if life is monotonous, they provide a healthy diversion; if life is overwrought, they impart composure to it.Instead of spending our leisure hours listlessly and stupidly, they furnish an intelligent and profitable past time. They help to adjust the balance and keep the harp of life in tune.

  • Pigeons have never been a problem. Ibis get annoying though

  • In sri lanka no one poison pigeons.

They even come inside rice shops to eat rice.

but shop owner never poison the birds.

what he do is he make a rice bowl which dedicated to pigeons.

  • pigeons is treated like a pet in other countries,& and they used it for racing

  • Ugh, poisoning is so a barbaric. x_x

Not only are pigeons fine birds plagued by this inhumane practice, but poisoning is terrible for predator populations. For a well known example: Pale Male's old mate, First Love, died from consuming a poisoned pigeon. :/

  • This video is a very touching video. More cities should use these methods. I myself have 2 pigeons and I really love them and seeing an innocent bird suffering like that really upsets me and makes me angry.

  • To tell you all the truth, I'M AFRAID OF PIGEONS. They scare the crap out of me! But, i would never think of hurting one.

  • fucking assholes poisoning the poor pigeons should be poisoned before being beaten into pulp

  • Pigeons are beautiful, intelligent birds, they are no different than a macaw! Pigeons deserve to be treated with respect, and are not dirty! how are pigeons dirty birds!?

  • I love pigeons! who could hurt them!?!?!?!?!

  • I love this video!!! 5/5 Stars and ***faved***

  • DON'T KILL PIGEONS... LOVE THEM...

  • this is wonderful. i am a teacher and intend on playing this for my class and doing some actions to help spread respect and understanding for these creatures.

  • hello, very very good video ...

i live in ireland , can anybody tell me is it legal to catch and keep wild pigeons and will they stay at my loft if i release them ??

    thanks

  • That was a wonderfull video and I love birds, and doves and pigeons! I am going to post that video on my site.. please dont delete or get rid of this video, cmf

  • Outstanding video!!! This needs to be in the hands of every mayor of every city and every governor of every state!!!

  • This is a superb video that exposes the terrible way these birds are treated for no reason other than they are made out to be dangerous by greedy exterminators, shooting clubs and dog training businesses looking for a profit from the death of these pigeons.
