Four swords was just an addition to A link to the past on the GBA so it was more like a subgame. Four swords was more like an addon so I imagine it would not be very long although I haven't played it so i can be sure.

Its more of a Mario Party type game or a Subgame. Basically you, and up to 3 of your friends Help each other in Puzzles, or fight each other for items.

As I recall, Four Swords Adventures is the sequel to Four Swords on the GBA, but its not much of one.

Oh and if you might happen to ask if there will be another, there was going to be another game under code-name "Four Swords DS (3)" but it was cancelled so they could work on Phantom Hourglass.

The Legend of Zelda:A Link To The Past was remade from the Super Nintendo and Gameboy Color game and The Legend of Zelda:The Four Sword's was a bonus game added for those that had friend's with there own copy's of the game to come over to play it's just a muiltiplayer game you cant play it on Nintendo DS Lite so I sold my copy only single player on DS Lite...:(
