Our dachsbull "Flaffer" is always hungry, and she looks overweight but I think it's mostly muscle. She can't run too fast because the legs are short but her strength is surprising.
Your dogs are so cute when they play together. I also have a Pit/Dachshund (we dubbed him a "Pitsun") named Peanut. Roxanne and Peanut have the exact same brindle coloring and body style...such cool looking dogs. Peanut's got crazy eyes.One is all blue and the other is blue/brown, take a look at our videos. We discovered his love of eating and put him on a diet about 6 months ago...he claims he's starving all the time, but the vet told us he's healthy. Must be the breed.
was the dachshund/pit mix's mom the dachshund or the pit? my female dachshund (she's a dapple dachshund) beats up my pit (he's an american staffordshire terrier pit) all the time.. playfully though, they don't really fight. even when my sister's dog comes over (she is an american pitull terrirer) and my dog and my sister's dog are playing tug-o-war over a rope or something, the dachshund gets in there & ends up coming out with the rope or the ball... she's nutty & she thinks she is 10 feet tall.
