I have a DV6 with an i3 and the 5650.I ran into a problem that you should be aware of if your thinking about buying any HP comp with an ati card,specifically ones with switchable GFX.You cannot download the most recent ATI drivers from AMD/ATI website, you have to wait for HP to release an update for your GFX card.The last time HP updated its 5650 drivers was December 2010!! I find it disgusting that HP cant offer more support than that.

and it runs pretty smooth with about 30fps ^^

I have the same PC but i upgraded the RAM from 4GB to 8GB...

I adjusted the settings to extreme and the game is verry verry smooth!

I await the new patch 1.9 ... and the two special patch(High Res Textures and DirectX 11 Ultra Upgrade)

@MnCorp971 Depends on your processor if you have a medium to high end processor you can run the games. The ram allow the game to run smooth.But if you want smooth gameplay your should upgrade the memory on the graphics card,

This video is fake. Crysis 2 doesnt run this smooth with 5650m, not even in minimum settings. Must have been recorded with some high-end gpu

I've done my research....... and all over the internet, people and websites tell me that the Radeon 5650 is not very good for gaming. Yet there are MANY videos demonstrating that the card is great at running games. I mean look at this ^ video!

Am I missing something here? Are all these videos not full graphics?

@Jammed9000 This videowas not in full graphics, yeah i confirm this graphic card is not very good for gaming, but it very confortable on recent games (for exemple, its a little bit laggy on a extended screen with a superior resolution than the laptop screen)

@umerkhawer8888 no problems like this, the only thing I hate is the keys left shorcut that botehring me in games (if you press one of this keys by accident your games will be reduiced)

@x3100owner I've just check a comparaison between the core i5 560m and the core i7 720qm, the benchmark result is indentic, so yeah it can run like me.

Yes now, I'm playing it at 1280 x 720, and it still smooth too  (> 30 fps), I'll upload another video using this resolution later...

i play on laptop gpu 5650 cpu i5 480m just a little worse than your quad core so i play high on 1280x720 sometimes you see that its a little fps loss but over 80%of time over 30fps
