But no, they do, trust me, they do, I work with both Windows and Linux and they both go down, and on top of that, Most 100% Linux environments are disorganized like all hell. Windows is more organized in the end. So as an industry standard, its windows, though linux is handy for a few things

What are they going to do for Directory Service, what are they going to do in terms of locking their users down? Use Linux. LoL. Don't make me laugh :P Linux IS good, and judging by a lot of your previous comments, you hate windows and Mac. Appreciate everything. and BSOD, if your too n00b to use hardware that works, or keep virus's off, then yes, you will get BSOD, just like kernal

@DaFakaMatt modern linux will only stop the current malfunctioning application, it does not crash the whole system that was what i was referring to. and i agree with you that it doesn't make much sense to have just one server it leaves no room for error. but i think they were trying to point out that linux operates on fewer resources. PS i don't hate mac and windows, i just dont like the companies that develop them.

Reminds me of a visit to a major bank's data center about 25 years ago. They built a huge underground site with 3 rooms each the size of a football field "to allow for future expansion". One room had all their computers in one corner. The second room had backup computer systems in a corner similar to the first room. The 3rd room was empty. About 10 years later the data center was using even less space and trying to lease out its space to outsiders. Bank security did not like that idea though.

As a microsoft user I have to say that linux is pretty darn good. You have to be a smarter nerd to use it and it all works the same. I keep a dual boot just incase but online I use linux thru chrome or firefox at work Im forced to use Msoft so it would be nice if more software vendors supported linux. I see a bright future for linux it really has come a long way very impressive!
