It was stated in this video animal cells and plant cells have cell walls where materials pass in and out of the cells. this is not accurate. Only plant cells have cell walls. Cells wall function is not transport of materials in and out of the cell, but rather structure, support and protection for plant cells. All cells (plant, animal and prokaryote) have cell membranes. If you take the term cell wall in this video and change it to cell membrane, that is the only thing I caught. Nice video!
The food in our digestive system is broken down into very small molecules. The molecules are small enough to fit through a cell membrane. In your small intestine you have billions of tiny "fingers" called villi. The tissue of the villi is about one cell thick. The food absorbs through the villi into microscopic blood vessels called cappliaries (NOT VEINS). These vessels are thin enough to allow nutients to enter the blood stream. ANIMALS DO NOT HAVE CELL WALLS!
